40 percent of US honeybee population lost over year, as mysterious die-off accelerates
Fuck you Monsatan.

Background: [link to en.wikipedia.org]

[link to rt.com]

The number of the so-far unexplained honeybee deaths in the US rose at a significant and “troubling” rate last year, according to a government report. The summer deaths have for the first time outnumbered the winter ones.

Thousands of beekeepers reported losses of 42.1 percent of their colonies in the 12-month period that ended in April, according to the annual survey released by the Bee Informed Partnership and largely funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). That number is more than double the 18.7 percent yearly loss that the USDA considers to be economically sustainable.

“Such high colony losses in the summer and year-round remain very troubling,” Jeff Pettis, a USDA senior entomologist, said in a statement.

The figure is also well above the 34.2 percent loss reported for the same period in 2013 and 2014, and is the second-highest recorded loss since year-round surveys began in 2010.

Summer honeybee deaths were shown to exceed winter deaths for the first time, with each season registering 27.4 and 23.1 percent losses, respectively.

The die-offs were felt mostly by the nation's commercial beekeepers, who rent their hives to farmers during pollination seasons. Millions of honeybees are needed to pollinate plants that produce a quarter of the food consumed by Americans, and their services have an estimated value of $10 billion to $15 billion a year.

Interesting coincidence that this "pandemic" localized mostly in country with allowed GMO crops.

If there was a chart available I reckon there would be a real close resemblance with a glyphosate production chart at 180 degrees.

I've seen two bees this spring, that's more than last year

I stopped fertilizing the lawn, didn't know it was bee killer

He said that man would have 5 years to live.

But there are other insect pollinators.

It would definitely drive up food prices sky high.

whites are supposed to be the smart and intelligent race.
It's the africans that are dumb, and do not have these advanced chemicals.

This must be a good thing.

Probably trying to replace them with "Roundup Ready" GM bees, God knows how much money they would manage to extort.

Re: 40 percent of US honeybee population lost over year, as mysterious die-off accelerates
SE Washington, here. I've been out salmon fishing quite a bit the last 4 weeks. Countless honey bees have kind of crash landed on my boat, then die. I thought they were just stopping to rest, but that has not been the case. Slow, lethargic, and disoriented, they land and never take flight again. Very sad and concerning. The surrounding region is the Palouse Inland Empire. A massive agricultural hot bed for the dispersment of crop chemicals.

It's because of microwave radio. I live underneath a cell phone tower. Before they built that damned thing we could grow a garden every year. Now we can't, because the bees that would pollinate things are all gone ....

I have noticed the same thing here in Nor Cal. Bees stumbling around in my garden amongst the plants. They attempt to fly, but cannot. It is as if they have lost all physical coordination.

Re: 40 percent of US honeybee population lost over year, as mysterious die-off accelerates
good grief someone put this crap to bed....

does the term Domesticated - mean anything to anyone

before the 1600s the Domesticated European/western honey bee DID NOT EXIST in the Americas. colony collapse syndrome is ONLY happening to the European honey bee population. They were brought to north America to pollinate larger tracks of crops...lets call it pre-monsanto chemical modification. Back then the farming community needed a pollinator that exceeded our domestic pollinators.

yea Im gonna say it.... you bee-tards really think the western honeybee is for the yummy bee puke? or that the only way to pollinate is with an insect that was never suppose to make it to the Americas. You can thank the steam ships/humans for this fuck up. AGAIN.

google is your friend if you really want to understand this...research it for your self ---ya right almost forgot...NO LINKY then its stinky. hiding
