So how do these little guys become such efficient herders? Chance? Or does intelligent design make a perfect blend of cute and smart? | |

And the cute factor is nature's way of making sure someone takes care of a little one, no matter what species of mammal they are. All baby mammals are cute. Go fucking read a book or two and learn something. |

Or does intelligent design make a perfect blend of cute and smart? It is quite easy to answer, but we live in different worlds so you won't agree with my answer anyhow. Nature is the result of evolution. I'm not 100% sure about it's origin and am even willing to entertain the idea that the universe somehow was artificially started. I however don't believe there is anyone out there controlling every single detail and designing it piece by piece. I rather think evolution was started at the conception of the universe and everything that followed, including mankind, is the result of chance and natural selection. Kent Hovind was mentioned earlier in this thread. I have watched almost everything he has produced. He didn't convince me as I could not blind myself to facts that thoroughly. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45609428 Interesting. Apparently you think there is some upper limit to intelligence. Why? There is no reason not to think that a civilization a few thousand years advanced from our present level of science and technology could not be designing and creating complete universes. |

All dogs are the result of thousands of years of humans selectively breeding wolves and natural mutants in order to get what we have today. The Bible makes a distinction between domestic animals and wild animals......within each animal species there is wide range of variation...... All humans descended from an original pair and there is wide variety of races within All animals descended from an "original" as well and there is wide variety, and breeding....still....where did the "original" come from? Nothing "existed naturally"- everything was created " Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God."-Hebrews 3:4 |

I posted this thread as kind of a personal celebration in Corgi's behalf....because I have one I am getting in one week....she will be two months old.... I have been fascinated by this little breed for a long time and I appreciate so much your expressions... Tell me more about yours if you wish....and, yes....I have heard they are an incredibly smart dog.... Cheers to you ![]() |
