This is true, studies done (and of course quickly suppressed) women just not as funny as men, even the current "best" female comedians Tina Faye and Amy Pohler are an acquired taste. Their TV shows are sort of like affirmative action for TV shows.

yes, and women who are less pleasing to the eye but more talented, seem to do less well. so there's bias inside the perceived sexism.

I love comedy but most successful comedians depend on vulgarity to be funny and that doesn't look as good on a woman for some reason.

Ok..... so.. it looks like people mostly want to look at something pretty over substance or talent.... this isn't exclusive to comedy.

I'd fuck Sarah Silverman or Melissa McCarthy. I think Silverman would just be sort of a dead fuck, but she's got a nice bush. Melissa McCarthy would be a fuckin' rollercoaster and a you'd have fun. She's likable.
