It’s the reverse of what can make sense. Joker represents Christian values, didn’t you know? Just a metaphor in obliqueness, not physically, remember that. Destroying the sick, denying money….these are values of a certain ideology. The caraturization in film, particularly with the Batman (atman) is to show how the atman is always trying to get where the jacob/joker is, the dark one is perpetually trying to achieve the values that the joker represents. Or something like that. Now, explicitly, yes it’s good/evil, but it’s reversed, and it’s a point of perspective about the culture, a hidden mystery in those comics. It’s supposed to feed the dark side of your soul to invest time in watching those movies, to be cathartic.
