If The Father is the only one who knows the date, then prophecies from Jesus & HS would be in effect until....

Jesus said "only the Father knows" while he was incarnate here on earth. Once Jesus was glorified after resurrection He became one again with the Father and would have been privilege to the knowledge of the Godhead including the time of the rapture.

The Godhead (Trinity) exists outside of time encompassing all of time. To Them the rapture has already occurred. All of the events of time have already happened where They are in eternity.

Daniel is told that the scroll of end time things was sealed until the end time when it would be revealed. This may have been a word just for the people of Daniel (Israel). The revealing may occur only after they are about to take place.

Remember that most of the prophecy of Jesus' first appearance was not understood until after the fact. There were a few wise men and watchers who studied Daniels prophecies and were aware of the general time He would come, but it took a physical astronomical sign to get the wise men to go look for Him.

Much of the remaining prophecies have dual meanings or are so clouded they won't be understood until a series of events start to happen that can be recognized as a pattern fitting the judgments of the last days.

At Pentecost Peter quoted from Joel with events that would signal the end of the church age (sixth seal). We should be looking for those.

I'm wondering how these work for 'personal words'. When someone gets a word about a ministry, even for me... in the back of my mind, I'm always trying to figure out if these things are supposed to happen before the rapture,... or they will occur during the millennium.

For example someone I know has had prophetic words about having an international preaching ministry. But trying to figure out the timeframe is tough.
