Haha do people actually believe that an earthquake will happen? Are you so retarded? There isn't even a planetary alignment and even if it would be, the gravitational force would be too weak.

Sorry doomtards, seems like you must keep living your miserable lifes...

Usually before an earthquake happens, animals/pets act really weird since they cant sense it. Does anyone have cats or dogs and living in California that are acting weird lately?

Yes because no animals ever die in natural disasters.

Just saw that. Very strange. My roommate also just sent a picture of what looks like a massive colony of ants that are on the surface in about a ten foot line.

There was a 3.0 quake yesterday near Santa Cruz island off the CA coast. There are natural crude oil seeps in the area between the islands and the coast. The quake probably caused some seepage that congealed and washed ashore.

Where's your friend located? Crunch62 from Northern Cal also had an unusual encounter with ants. I'm very curious if this was in the same area or not. Thanks!

We are in the San Diego area. A little to the north about 8 miles. Where just to our north there was 2.4. And a few other smaller ones to our east earlier.

Interesting. We had a couple of 3.0 quakes yesterday about 20 miles from here. In this area such quakes are pretty rare. I noticed the ant swarm this morning about 6:30.

There was also an EQ swarm near the dormant volcano, Cerro Prieto. Which is about 144 miles SE of San Diego.

When it comes to EQ survival in addition to the standard, "drop, cover, and hold on" method. The "triangle of life" theory is one we should be aware of as well. It's all a judgment call based on your situation.

i.e. EQ strikes. You're in your car in a parking garage, with your pet. You can't get out, the garage starts to collapse. What do you do?

According to the "triangle of Life" theory, you get out of your car, get down on the ground right next to the car & get into the fetal position. This will protect you from being crushed to death, as there will be an empty void next to the car, a space protected from the collapse.
