WHAT IS ASTROLOGY? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3223 United States 09/05/2006 05:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hint: Think of it as a multilevel(multidimensional) system of symbols representing a person's growth from birth on through to old age. This can apply to countries, cultures and tribes and many sentient beings that progress through cycles of time. It depicts potentials, likely trends and events and cycles... basically the ebb and flow of life's events. |

Ok. Astrology is a business where scammers pretend to be able to tell someone what is going to happen to them (for a fee) based on arbitrary "interpretations" attributed to irrelevant cosmic alignments and postitions. Better? Reality is interesting enough. |

My son has Pluto in the sixth squaring 5 planets within 8 degress of his midheaven and also squaring the moon conjunct his descendant. He's a very unique young man. You're thoughts, please? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 139050There is no way any planet in the 6th house can square any planet conjunct the descendant. |

But the shit ain't easy to learn, and most of the lazy ass fools in this culture don't bother to pay their dues before trying to represent the tradition. |

Twinkletoes User ID: 10649 United States 09/05/2006 09:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | to me, its fun. Its something interesting, but Ive never really gotten into the whole 'science' of it, if you can call it that. I like to mess around with Tarot cards, and I do pretty well with them most times. It's all about attitude towards stuff like this, and what you want from it. Ive never charged for my readings, and only do them for close friends and family. It's just a guide for them. It's up to them to choose whatever course they take. The way I see it, its one of those'lost in the translation' kind of things. Let yourself go, and the translation is more accurate. that goes for translating your dreams too. YOU can translate them best. Trust yourself. |

As an example, I have absolutely no way of knowing if you will have diarrhea of the mouth, unless you come to me and ask, "Will I have diarrhea of the mouth?" Once you ask me, then I can look at your chart, well, not me, I really suck at predictions, but someone better educated and experienced can look at your chart and say yes, it's possible you might have a bad case of diarrhea of the mouth during this time period. It is very possible to have a sixth house planet square the IC if you're not using an equal house system. His moon is exactly conjunct his IC at 1 degree Virgo squaring his sixth house Pluto at 28 degrees Scorpio. |
