Texas flooding brings tide of more than ONE THOUSAND SNAKES into homes

God is sending plagues to Texas and Oklahoma.

So ? Snakes are you friend, I love it when they live under my house. I just saw a big king snake slither under the house just yesterday.

Because they allowed Kalifornians to infest their states.

That's all fine and dandy until a Cottonmouth or Rattlesnake curls up beside you lol.

It's not God; it's weather manipulation.

And the snakes?? But of course that would be the reptlians.....

King snakes eat Ratlle snakes. I would be more concerned about the Ratller that is living under your house. You will always see the Ratller where the King Snake is hanging out.........

Clearly the guy has never been to the south. I live in washington state now, but from florida. Its nice to go for a swim or hike and not have to check all around you for cottons.

Yeah, but Texas has a lot of mocassians, copperheads and rattlers -- eeeeeek!!!

When we lived in Texas, my kitty, Valkyrie, cornered a baby copperhead in the foyer one morning. Scared the crap out of me because I had a two year old at the time (kitty was unharmed).

Picked the snake up with BBQ tongs and sent him to eternity down the garbage disposal.

Another time, husband came home from work one very hot day & decided to take a dip in the pool. A cottonmouth slithered across his chest. Don't think I had ever seen a man walk on water before.

We have cotton mouths and water moccasins here in NC. This is why I refuse to go swimming in any lake ever again. Was at Jordan lake about 10 years ago and a man right next to us got bit by a water moccasin. I never went back, because there is a big sign that says they are in the water where folks swim.

In Sweetwater they have the largest rattlesnake roundup in the world. This would prevent the problem.

I'm starting to see the big picture here.

Step 1.Texas stands up to Obama and his corrupt party over immigration.

Step 2.Deploy US military for "Exercises"

Step 3.Target Texas with weather modification to create natural disaster.

Step 4.Government declares a state of emergency in Texas.

Step 5.Since the military is already in the area for "training" they get sent in to "aid" the Texans.

Step 6.Door to door wellness checks and gun confiscation all in the name of "aid".

When I moved to MT from Texas a man there said, oh you are from that state that everything , sticks , bites or stings , kinda true

I was in the Florida Panhandle region several years ago, the Redneck Riviera, where crawdads (crayfish) are found on the menu. Just snap the head off and suck the meat out of the shell.

I was born and raised in Texas and I have only seen snakes at lakes or ponds. By the ponds, they will be hanging out on tree limbs. When I saw them, I told my boyfriend, I am leaving NOW. We were way far from civilization and if one of us got bit we'd be dead. I went and sat in the truck for an hour because he had the keys! He kept fishing for that hour while I was sweating my ass off in the truck. Needless to say that was the last time I ever spent time with him.

Now, the past 2 weeks, my kitty has been finding small black snakes on our nightly walk. I told my boys it because the rain has filled all their holes and looks like I was right! I will prob have a heart attack if I find one in my home. But I have 4 kitties so they better kill it. I really don't want to have to use the shotgun in the house, but if it's me or the snake, it will be the snake!

Snakes are my one and only fear. One and only.

And we got 7" of rain two nights ago. I havent checked for last night. And there I is water coming in on one 2' part of my bedroom. Boys gotta check the gutters today because it should be going downhill and not in the house. I so hope the foundation isn't cracked from the terrible drought we have been through.

Today can only get better, right?!?
