"The city of Crimea"? What is that? I didn't know there was a city named Crimea.

the Russians first took over Crimea in 1783 and city of Crimea makes no fucking sense at all in any time period

And Vilna Gaon lived from 1720-1797.

Russians also retook Crimea from the germans in 1944. The russians were stopped from taking Constantinople by the western powers in 1878.

The Gaon of Vilna was amazing.

He was able to sit at a table with several people and dictate to them several different texts on different matters as they wrote it down, in a round-robin fashion. This was one of the reasons why he was called a genius.

The city of Crimea doesn't necessarily mean that the city is called Crimea. It means "the city of Crimea". He probably had a vision of the Russians taking a city in Crimea.

Russia annexed it the first time in 1783

also occupied by germany from 1942-1944 then again soviets recaptured it.

in 1954 it went to the socialist republic of ukraine

in 1992 it went to the indepent republic of ukraine

and in 2014 russia annexed it.

so russia retook the crimea 3 times and still the so called "messiah" hasn't showed up. I guess they have to lose it again and wait for a 4th time?...

Crimea isn't a city...it's a peninsula. Aka the Tauric Peninsula.
