I think you are on to something re holding centres. I'm in the South east and although that's where the highest number of people are in the UK, there are way too many out of town supermarkets / retail stores...... |

Ive always thought that . they have been sort of thrown up all over the country in places that dont need them. |
<Peace> (OP) User ID: 69372515 United Kingdom 06/04/2015 05:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Also, have you noticed how council offices now have larger reception areas - WAY too big as if to process lots of people at once
.. they have toughened glass, security guards and cameras everywhere. Also, the job centres/benefit offices now have a part of the building which is barred like a prison I was shocked at the sight of it. It leads up stairs to another area where there are cells. It is supposed to be for 'holding' people who have committed benefit fraud or similar . A tad over the top I think . Last Edited by <Peace> on 06/04/2015 05:45 PM |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 68504150 United Kingdom 06/04/2015 05:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I didn't know that about the job centre! That's very interesting! Hmmm, I just thought of something else which is very recent and I thought was strange at the time. My local post office has just installed bars/grills all over its windows. Never been any need to do so so far so why now? There hasn't been any break ins so couldn't be an insurance requirement. Very interesting OP!! 👍🏻 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69419723 United Kingdom 06/04/2015 05:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let me tell you about SINISTER UK supermarkets. ASDA-Walmart stores are unlike any other domestic supermarket. I won't go in them anymore, since I began experiencing disorientation, paranoia and panic attacks when shopping there. I believe they target "consumers" with microwaves, infrasound and such. None of the other well-known supermarkets are like this. |

In the city of Los Angeles (not on the outskirts), loads of oil-drilling derricks are disguised as regular buildings, so it could be this. |
INK User ID: 69385467 United States 06/04/2015 05:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's kinda disturbing OP. My local Walgreens has a pyramid shaped little whatever-the-hell, right in the front on the roof. Looks similar to your pics. In fact, many of the newer stores, mostly the chains, have something similar. Maybe the pyramid shape is what tell "them" where their friends are. I dunno, but it doesn't fit in at all with the local architecture. |

I remember Asda suddenly being around, like a new kid on the block. Were their stores designed to be "multi-purpose" from the start or were they co-opted somewhere along the line? |
