This is especially true of drones. A .3006 can pass through at least a foot of robot, destroying dozens of critical components. The British came up with an ingenious idea to kill an early killer robot, the V-1. They would fly right next to one with a Spitfire and tip its wings a bit. The control system would go crazy.
