Get a farmer's almanac. You are feeling the lunar position, especially at night.
Your body is 90% water, and runs on electromagnetism. You respond to the moon just like the sea, and plants.

But people who "feel shifts," especially at night, are usually feeling the movement of the moon. I recommend picking up an Old Farmer's Almanac, and when you "feel a shift," take a look at the position of the moon. Often times, it comes during an actual lunar shift. I feel the shift in my upper back, forehead, and in my general energy levels. You might feel it in your leg, you might have a problem with your leg, or both. Most leg issues are linked to the lower spine. Your nervous system is a big electromagnetic communication system. Shifts in lunar magnetism affect your body just like it affects the fertility of planted crops. But the Almanac is cool anyways, I highly recommend getting one. They are only a few bucks.
