I didn't draw it in the sense that 'I did not intend to put down a portrait of a guy that died in 1947.' Now, physically, I absolutely drew it...I was holding the oil pastel and moving it across the paper. Anything beyond that is a mystery, which leads me to my fascination and interest.

I've since equated this "phenomenon" to be similar to say, a person playing some virtuoso piece on a piano or violin...kind of like "from the 'muse'" ...but what is that?
