At a degree above the 3rd degree master mason, there is a ritual involving the initiate giving another member a "kiss on the based of the spine."


This freemasonic ritual borrows from eastern concepts of Kundalini and chakras with it's own sexual adaptions.


Candidates entering this degree have to kiss their initiator on the mouth, the navel, the penis, and at "the base of the spine." These kisses were regarded by critics of the Order as proof of their perverted sexual activities, but in the occult tradition, the navel, sexual organs and the perineum are the physical locations of the psychic centres of the human body, known in the East as chakras.

Indeed the Yoga Upanishads describe Kundalini as a coiled energy serpent at the base of the spine.

However The freemasons, heavily influenced by Aleister Crowley and his pioneering endeavors in homosexual sex magick, attempt to activate the base of the spine chakra -THROUGH THE BUTTHOLE- by sodomy in a vain and self-indulgent attempt to open their "third eye" so they can see spirits behind the veil.

It is interesting to note that openly satanic organizations such as the Temple of Set or Anton LaVey's Church of Satan, have "sacred sodomy" rituals also. However unlike many mid- level freemasons who led to believe that the sodomy ritual has to do with Chakra, the satanists have no pretenses; they engage in sacred sodomy rituals like the Tunnels of Typhon specifically with the objective of implanting a demon in the recipient.
