Well I have never trusted my left arm. I found my left hand choking me in my sleep one time. Maybe I can threaten it with amputation?

Fucking everyone is living in a fantasy world. I had an urge to be Peter Pan so the whole fucking world must refer to me as Peter Pan, pay for my wing surgery, then give me disability when I can't perform my job because I have sever pain in my wings.

If insurance doesn't cover the surgery, prosthetic limb and disabled pension, I bet that suddenly all these people would change their minds about their deep feelings.

I don't see you protesting sending troops to the Middle East to get their limbs blown off.

If we can medicate humanity within an inch of their lives to keep their moods stable, we can certainly cut off a limb if it makes them happy.

No one's saying they're going to come cut off YOUR arm to make your neighbor happy, so why do you even care?

If we have to pay for their surgery and aftercare, prosthetic, disability payment and otherwise accommodate them, then that's a reason to care.

BTW it should be no secret to anyone joining the military where they might be deployed, and if they have any brain cells they won't think it's absolutely necessary to preserve (what's left of) America's freedom. We have a volunteer military. It's their choice.
