The message behind the removal of Alexander Hamilton from the $10 bill.
“Divide et impera must be the motto of every nation that either hates or fears us.”
Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

“The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.”
Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers

“The complete independence of the courts of justice is peculiarly essential in a limited Constitution. By a limited Constitution, I understand one which contains certain specified exceptions to the legislative authority .... Limitations of this kind can be preserved in practice no other way than through the medium of courts of justice, whose duty it must be to declare all acts contrary to the manifest tenor of the Constitution void. Without this, all the reservations of particular rights or privileges would amount to nothing.”
Alexander Hamilton

[link to www.goodreads.com]

Alexander Hamilton co-authored the Federalist Papers and was dedicated to the ratification of the Constitution of the United States.

[link to www.archives.gov]

Before the ratification of the U.S. Constitution the 13 states formed a loose union with the Articles of Confederation. Because the Articles didn't provide for economic stability and a strong continental army the union was near collapse only 8 years after the Revolutionary War.

[link to www.pbs.org]

If Hamilton hadn't greatly contributed to the ratification of the U.S. Constitution our country very well may not have existed for over a decade.

First they divide us and ban a symbol of resistance to abusive federal authority using racism and now they will remove Hamilton from the face U.S. currency using racism as well.

What next?

Hamilton was a Federalist who wanted a strong central government. How do you reconcile that?

I had a hard time with that as well until I realized how weak the previous union was.

Regardless, the Federalists of then were the proponents of our current Constitution.

Re: The message behind the removal of Alexander Hamilton from the $10 bill.
Many of Hamilton's quotes support things that we are seeing attacked today.

He believed in a well armed population. We know that our federal government want nothing more than to disarm us.

He believed that the strength of our nation rested on our solidarity. We have seen decisive moves to create a division.

He believed that the separation of our court justices from government influence was necessary to maintain the freedoms outlined in the Constitution, and we have witnessed this week that they most certainly are influenced.

I believe that Hamilton's removal from the $10 bill is their verifiable confirmation that they are targeting these things, along with the Constitution itself... a document he championed into ratification.

He may have had good intentions and others hijacked the concept.

I'm not sure that the Federalists from then could even imagine the enormity and intrusiveness of our current federal government.

Last two nations with out a central bank = Iran and North Korea.

Not even the US President is allowed in the Federal Reserve building. That I feel is contempt to US sovereignty.

I support Imperialism and am against Federalism. Federalism is like multiculturalism, it doesn't work too well in the long run.

A nation like China can have a leader run the Nation for 30+ years. Where as a US President can only max at 8 years.

Now, the US is only capable of 8 year plans or less. While the leader who is in power his entire life can act on a lifetime plan.

Which can provide stronger, more impacting results over the Nation they rule.

Thanks for this info, this is some good stuff. I had no idea that the only two countries left without a central bank was Iran and North Korea. That is epic, everyone needs to know that.

The president of the United States isn't allowed in the Federal Reserve building...

DOrolleyes

That's absurd!

I always felt that the one thing that could unify the citizens of the United States against this evil would be outing the Federal Reserve.

As far as Imperialism is concerned, I understand your position... but there would have to be a mechanism for citizens to remove such an imbedded leader in the case of civil rights abuse.

Interesting, thought provoking comments... thank you again!

Right.

Hamilton's idea of a strong central government is exemplified by his support for the Constitution. The government proposed in the Constitution alone was much stronger than what they had with the Articles of Confederation...

Think of it like this... back then people were afraid that the Constitution was over reaching.

What would they think now?

Correct... but the strong central government that Hamilton was a proponent of was the government described in the Constitution.

Do you feel that the Constitution describes an over reaching government?

If so that is another excellent topic for discussion.

Was the Constitution of the United States of America the framework that enabled the federal government to become as large and oppressive as it is today?

Maybe it was by design?

The United States of America doesn't live under tyranny. It lives under the growing spectre of tyranny. There is a difference. There are incidents of oppression and attacks on liberty, but we still have them.

The biggest threat to our freedom is apathy and the inherent weakness of the modern American character!

"My kids ain't learnt nutin' at the public skewl!" Then put down the remote, take away Johnny's xbox controller, turn of the NFL, NBA, UFC, whatever and crack a fucking book!

" We are Mexican-America! We will preserve our culture." Fine, then have a parade once a year like the Wops and the Micks and learn fucking English.

You want to see tyranny. Go to Iran, Jordan, Venezuela, or Cambodia. You have no fucking clue what real tyranny looks like.

Both of these comments are very different but also, to an extent, very much true.

We can thank Hamilton for our comfy lifestyle, without his contributions to funding the Continental Army we may have not lasted another decade as a nation.

He did however envision and help to create the central bank, modeling it after the very nation's that the people here fought for freedom.

What is the balance here?

Could our United States have survived without a well funded army?

The message? Idiot liberals who have nothing more constructive to do such as something useful like eliminating the dollar bill and the lincoln cent are the ones in charge.

Changes that need to be made are ignored, idiot bleeding heart crap like this gets attention.

Meanwhile I continue to throw pennies and nickels on the ground because they simply have no value. Round everything to the nearest quarter if you want to do something useful.

I think Aaron Burr was trying to create his own nation in the mid west.

Alexander Hamilton was a freemason, a sodomite and a Royalist. He wanted a king for your Country.

He was a traitor to your country and an agent of the Rothschilds, who was responsible for the "First Bank of the United States" a Rothschild controlled Federal reserve of it's day.

Maybe he is being pulled off because his plans for the U.S. are finally beginning to fail the elite.
