I thought they were removing Andrew Jackson.

He needs to go just for the Indian Removal in the 1830s.

Andrew Jackson once said:

"All the rights secured to the citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous Judiciary."

and

"The people are the government, administering it by their agents; they are the government, the sovereign power."

Both Jackson and Alexander Hamilton mentioned the importance of an independent judiciary and also commented on methods of preserving personal sovereignty.

Where did you hear about Jackson being replaced, and do you happen to know who they might be replacing him with?

Hmmmm, except for the Indians of Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi who were denied due process and forcibly removed from their lands and territories established by Treaty with the US.

That's like saying the Confederacy was about State's Rights, as in it's the State's right to enslave Individuals which is the most extreme example of stripping of one's Constitutional Rights and basic Liberties.

But hey, keep waving that Confederate flag.

BTW, no one in this thread mentioned or implied support for the Confederate flag, nor the Confederacy lol.

Thanks again!
