Navy Yard locked down - don't even know if shots were fired yet every damn cop in DC is there

I wouldn't be surprised if a cop called in the 911 call themselves so they can all get overtime pay plus holiday pay for a 5 day weekend. Meatheads.

And if there had been a shooter you would be bitching that the police did not do enough ...

The Navy Yard already has their own SWAT team. There are thousands of cops at the Navy Yard right now and traffic is tied up all around DC. So what happens if a real attack happens at another quadrant?

This reminds me of the Blues Brothers. I'm pretty sure there are 500 cops all for what?

I wouldn't be surprised if a DOT HQ employee called it in so they could go home today for a 5 day weekend. I worked there for 5 years and these are the laziest unintelligent people who ever walked the face of the earth. If you're watching the news, you can see them leaving the HQ people to take the metro home.

It would take 5 hours to get all those cars unstacked.

All communications and humint is monitored during a staged event like these. They want it noticed everywhere.

Its done prior a high risk period...alot of important info is gained.

That info is used to attempt to prevent attack(s) during high risk period or to further mitigate or investigate any successful attack.
