The Rainbow is the sign of the Son of Man like in the times of Noah!!!!

The following quote from 2 Peter I post because I feel that with changes in various world governments' (particularky America's) permissive stance on LGBT lifestyles and other similar topics forbidden specifically in the Bible, it needs to be addressed, particularly with many Christian churches bowing to this permissiveness and changing their previously solid Biblical stance against LGBT and other sexual perversions.

i believe many mainstream churches are caving and changing their stance because they are afraid of losing their tax exempt stance and/or being charged with hate crimes for speaking out against sexual perversion. I speak out against those things because it is what the Lord our God commands us, but it is not hatred but concern for the eternal souls of those who practice it and those that support it, so I speak against it out of love and concern. If you belong to churches who are changing their ways, come out of those churches immediately because you will be judged for the company you keep.

I believe churches when they hold to God's Word and his truths can be an important part of a person's spiritual growth, but am beginning to think there will, perhaps soon be a need for less formal groups to meet for the spiritual purity of Christians everywhere so they won't be tempted to change their beliefs to get along and not be persecuted or prosecuted.

2 Peter 2:1-22

FALSE TEACHERS AND THEIR DESTRUCTION

1 "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow theirnshameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with their stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world whe he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men fro trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgement, which continuing their punishment. 10 This is especially true ofnthose who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority.

Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings, 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. 12 But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.

13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. 14 With their eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable, they are experts in greed--an accursed brood! 15 They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam, son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness. 16 But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.

17 These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from thkse who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, whi, e they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. 20 If they have escaped the corruption ofnthe world bybknowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end the they were at the beginning. 21 it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: 'A dog returns to its vomit,' and 'A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.'

Thanks AC, I am inspired by your thread, and the other Christian threads here at GLP. I too have felt compelled to come back to Christ recently, to strengthen my faith, and read my Bible. To share the message with my family and friends.

I see the signs everywhere- As a Christian, the world is becoming an unbearable horrible place, and the children are being raised to believe it is normal.

I have not felt comfortable in many churches since the 80's when I was a child, and some of them give me the creeps. It's a weird feeling, because you should feel safe and loved. Instead it feels fake and superficial. I see the people playing on thier cell phones, and hardly anyone paying attention.

I went to the "big" mainstream non denominational church, that has many locations-everyone "LOVES" it. So I went to check it out a few times. I found that they did not even talk about the Bible, just a couple of verses during a 1 hour sermon. It was mostly a show, videos, performers. They even had a zombie theme- disturbing. You are right about leaving the church if it does not stick to the Bible, we were warned about it, and it really is happening.

Thank you for your kind words! As I mentioned in earlier posts, I am just a vessel for His Spirit, which compels me to share His Word and His love and feel so blessed that this and posts by other inspire you. There are churches out there that still teach by the good book and don't color Christianity and God's Word outside the lines God, our creator, and Jesus our Savior have drawn for our lives.

It is time for believers to draw closer to God and study and discern through prayer and reading the Bible the way to navigate through this life's evergrowing obstacle course for our souls. We are running a race and it is to keep our eye of the treasure of God and ahead of evil. Sounds like you already see things clearly, and I am equally inspired by yourself and others like you who are using the unique mindset that God's Word and God's grace gives his people. With God there is no deception, no trickery; his truths are righteous and ring true to one who hears and sees just how desperate things have become.

Do not give up the fight we Christians have been waging for many, many years against Satan and his evil minions. It is a war of love, truth, and communion with the Lord God Almighty through his Son, Jesus on the part of we Christians that the war is quickly deepening and worsening.

The good news is that we know who wins, and do not fear death come what may, because we know His love is ever faithful, and eternal through His grace, which will protect our souls eternally if we remain faithful to Him. Lord, please continue to work through the many good men and women hard at work to bring more glory upon you by bringing more of your flock into your grace. We know that all is possible with you in your infinite perfection. In Jesus' name we pray, amen!

I think its time for all of us Christians to be supportive of one another and help keep each other from harm, I recently had a disappointment at work, and found myself out of sorts, which isn't my usual way of responding to such things, but my life has been very stressful and challenging these last few years.

It took a good friend of mine in Christ to say, "God has much bigger and better plans for you than this that you're doing, and this is His way of preparing you that you will be ready." It was exactly what I needed to hear, and a reminder that God has always moved my life along in His way in His time and always towards what is best for me. It is this way for everyone, you just have to take notice. As I'm sure you've heard, when one door closes, another door opens". I'd forgotten in my moments of disappointment.

This was just a tiny, insignificant incident in my life, but it gave God the moment to inspire my friend to remind me of His love and his faithful watchfulness over all of us. I wanted to share this, because if you take away anything from being one of God's children, the greatest that moves you in His Spirit is his ever faithful love.

Feeling sheepish and foolish, but raised up in spirit, I thanked my friend for bringing me back to God's love with her wonderful words. Just a silly incident became an important refresher of my soul, and that is how all of us Christians should be to each other as well as unbelievers and shine our light as an example of holyness that broadcasts the faithful love of God and Jesus. It is my prayer and hope that each and every person has those people in their lives who keep them uplifted and feet square on this path to His kingdom. Romans 5:1-11

PEACE AND JOY

"1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. America: we must repeal, change, oust and clean house immediately to get back our ONE NATION UNDER GOD!!!

I know there are millions of very unhappy Christian Americans who are very much aware that our beloved country is going to be subject to God's wrath, which usually comes swiftly. America has been steadily declining from a country with Christian values to a place of sin, greed, murder, immorality, blasphemy and just plain evil since the 1950's. Yes, there were periods of excess during our history, , and yes, these sins have been occurring all along but usually not publicly, not government sanctioned, but in secret and in back rooms because the sinners were afraid of scandal. In the recent past, these things were done secretly because the sinners were afraid of scandal and were aware they were doing something sinful.

It started with legalizing abortion with severe restrictions to where we are now condoning filthy murderous late term abortions. No fetal life should be murdered but late term is out and out murder. This must stop; it just cannot go on; every American's soul is at risk.

Prayer was found unconstitutional in schools and stopped, now, many schools no longer even say the Pledge of Allegiance because soulless people are offended by our being ONE NATION UNDER GOD, but that is fundamentally what we are and should be. This was our forefathers' intention that while we allow for religious freedom that our country's foundation ALWAYS be UNDER GOD. Now, students can't even pray in schools, and even Christian schools are told they cannot pray because it offends non Christians. Excuse me, but doesn't it defeat the point of having private schools that they cannot teach kids the fundamentals of learning along with the fundamentals of the God of the parents who sent their kids to that school for that very reason? Seems to me if non Christians want to send their kids to Christian schools, well, they and their kids will just have to suck it up and tolerate it in a good way or those schools should have the right to kick those kids and their families out of school for being incompatible?

Just what is an atheist? Someone who believes in nothing but themselves. That sounds dangerous to me. Its also very socialist, and that government model we know to always fail because it dehumanizes people and takes away rights of belief and the pursuit of happiness. Eventually, the populous rises up and tears down the elites who think in their spaced out way that the public is too stupid to make decisions of what is best in their lives that makes them an individual.

Seems to me all of these nutty people of questionable birth and origins with socialistic, anti Christian beliefs have no business being in charge of our very Christian country nor do they belong here. They are rewriting history and history books to spread lies about our history, and even changing our Constitution and Bill of Rights with strokes of a pen and no public concensus or Congressional oversight. They are teaching our kids we have more freedom now than this country has ever had, and, as i've posted before, this is true if freedom equates with unchecked sin and excess.

This is not just socialism, it is a socialist dictatorship. Divide and conquer; make everyone suspicious of and angry with each other and they will be too afraid to buck the system and be easier to control. God Almighty himself gave us free will, and it is our right to use it to glorify Him, which is what this country has been doing and doing very well until TPTB came along.

the whole "False Flag" idea in many threads on GLP are quite correct in that scenarios are engineered as psyops to predictably change the behaviors of the people. WE ARE BEING HERDED. Make no bones about it. God's people are His flock, His sheep, and no one else's except Jesus'. Americans should only be herded by the law and will of the Holy Spirit of God, and not by calculating, greedy, power hungry people who hate us, our country and everything we stand for. They will not rest until they have taken our weapons we have rights to carry to protect us from the very government that is supposed to uphold our laws and protect its people. I hope we don't need them. But, if they are not stopped, God's wrath will overtake us and we will be lost. I believe there will be open Satanic worship, we will be under Sharia law, and Christians will be
purged just like the Jews and Gypsies were in Nazi Germany. It is already beginning; we don't have a lot of time left.

There are Satanic statues standing on government property in large cities, open Satanic black masses being held on public property and at colleges. There are mosques in just about every community with a compete absence in the lexicon of our goverment that those mosques are a hotbed of recruiting for islamic terrorism on our own soil as well as abroad, and their members show no outrage whatsoever for any such terrorist acts.

Lastly, we have the passage of LGBT laws and LGBT marriage legalization with its rainbow flag waving members and supporters proudly waving the crimson letter of their sin as if it is something to be proud of to be willful, disobedient lifetime sinners. That flag is God's sign that he won't flood the earth again to destroy it, but what so many Christians worked so hard to create and develop in the form of America is dying, steeped in evil and sin.

Marriage, God's perfect union of man and woman becoming one is now a sham; divorce is rampant, adultery, pornography, LGBT; can I say more? No. I've been very clear. Christians, we must not fall to aceept any of this and do everything we can to repeal, remove the guilty parties from office, and start all over again. It must not be done with hate but in the stately goodness of God's Holy Spirit; with love. It won't be easy. We may not save America, but we will get to keep our souls and save ourselves a place in God's holy kingdom. Do not fall away; many will; we as Christians are constantly under a barrage from all directions of everything that goes agai st everything we are and what we believe in. Do not give in to the evil one....ever. I pray Holy Father, for all of your flock that are saved to stand fast and enter by the narrow gate, and I also pray, Father, that you protect and keep those who are faithful. I also pray that those who are lukewarm or are stubborn and have not come to you, Father, that they do so right away. I pray these things to you, Almighty Father, that we may glorify you as we pray these things in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, amen.

The Fall of Babylon

Isaiah47: 1-15

1 "Go down, sit in the dust, Virgin Daughter of Babylon;

OK, one last thing for now. I protest that the American flag is posted upside down on every anonymous coward post. I have just noticed this. There are many patriotic Americans on this site, GLP, and that is not to be tolerated. She is not operating on her foundations right now, but America deserves more respect than what she's getting with the upside down flag right now. Please correct this immediately, moderator. It is possible the flag is hanging upside down on all American's posts and we Americans should all protest this now!

Correction, the American flag is showing upside doen on EVERY American GLP member's posts under their call name;it may be visible only to Americans and not to others. I've been told it is in protest to what's going on in the US right now and I get it, but its disrespectful, particularly to military members who sacrifice much for our freedom and it also lumps your protest in with muslims who burn the flag and leftists and environmentalists who have been known to hang it upside down. America isn't quite right at this time, but she's still my home.

Much has happened since last post...Israel's enemies are gathering, the Pope came to visit, rainbow clouds everywhere, last of tetrad blood moons and then after several years of no hurricanes, over four straight days of pouring rain and high winds, possessed individuals targeting Christians at colleges, Doctors Without Borders at hospitals in Afghanistan murdered by bombs, airstrikes happening in Syria....reads like Revelation, people!

Face it, we are in endtimes, but while at the time of Jesus, we were also in endtimes, but, if there was a clock for the progress towards Jesus' coming, we'd be at least at 2 minutes to midnight. If you are saved and have been lying low watching all of the crazy things happen that have happened over the past 6-8 years come to pass, it is almost past the time to reach out to loved ones and friends who aren't saved and help them get saved.

If you are reading this and haven't yet been saved, read the rest of this post and do so quickly because Jesus will come on the day you least expect it. It could be at any moment, and if you aren't saved and one of His, you could be drinking, doing drugs, fornicating, stealing, lying, hateful, boastful, spiteful, or any of those things you know you shouldn't be doing when he comes. Where will that leave you? It will leave you behind and wishing you had stopped being indecisive, stubborn and willful, and submitted to His will. It took me years of stupidity and His trying over and over to get my attention before I finally got this and was saved.

You could do everything to be a success, be a good person, do the right things, but if you haven't asked God His forgiveness of your sins through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus the Christ, who died for forgiveness your sins and was raised from the dead and brought up to heaven to be with God to prepare a place for his people, you will still be empty, and still have nothing. You will die, and you will not go to heaven. You will not have everlasting life and experience the Kingdom of God.

Its all up to Him; everything thing that happens he has knowledge of becase he is in all times at once. He made us, the world, and everything in it. His thoughts are alien to us they are so immensely beyond our reasoning. He is perfect and all knowing and all seeing, and he is the only God. Any other "gods" are counterfeit and are of satan. He loves us all, saint and sinners alike, and he wants us all for his own but he gave us free will and it is up to us to submit to him, ask for forgiveness of our inherent sin, and worship him for us to become his.

It is our nature to sin. Without God and Jesus, we will try and fail again and again, over and over to make ourselves worthy of his kingdom, make a life that satisfies you. You need to understand that you are a sinner, as are we all, and that it is through Jesus we are washed clean of sin and the Holy Spirit will dwell in us and move our souls to live God's ways and not in the sinful ways of the world.

Heavenly Father, we pray in the name of your son, Jesus, that you soften the hearts of those who are still holding out in stubbornness to your will and forgiveness and that you continue to work in all of our lives to bring as many to you as can be before the time of your wrath comes. Amen.

Also, regarding this, I regret I had posted this. I was ignorant of the hanging of the flag upside down in the military to indicate distress, and in that accurately indicates where we are at this time in this country, I respect that and support it.

I don't know about you, but as days pass by, I feel God's hand heavier upon me day by day...not in a bad way, but the synchronicity of his works in my life are coming closer together and more obvious than ever before. At night after I read the Bible, I pray for insight for His will to move me to walk in the Spirit. When I wake up the next day, I go about my business but things come to me I should do and I usually do them and then when I have, then something will happen completely unexpectedly that makes me feel blessed, warm and refreshed. I recently returned to church after a long hiatus, and today I took Communion for the first time in a very long time and I cried after I took it.

I was embarassed until after the service a woman came and asked me if I was OK and I told her what had happened, and she said, "I am so glad you told me that...I take Communion all the time and I guess I took it for granted until I heard what had happened to you today and you've refreshed my faith in that it is a truly wonderful thing to share in the blood and wine that represents God's body and blood." I was shocked, and she proceeded to tell more than a few other people about my experience. I realize now that God was using me to "refresh" their spirits as well.

On a more peculiar side, I mentioned in yesterday's first post that by my reckoning if God's time was represented on a clock, that we would be at 2 minutes to midnight. I was pretty freaked out this morning when I woke up while I was dressing for church to find that my watch had stopped at two minutes to midnight last night, and that was BEFORE I had written my post. These synchronicities keep happening all the time now, and I think may be why I feel an urgency to tell people who are undecided on coming to God through Christ that the time is so very late, and to wait much longer to turn to Him could prove deadly to your very soul.

I'm no prophet, and it is for this reason if he can use very ordinary, previously very sinful self to move others almost daily now, time must be very short, indeed, for such direct action in my very mundane person.

I brag of His works in my life because I believe He wants me to share them, and bragging of His absolute majesty is not sinful or prideful, but of an effort to glorify His name. All I can tell you is He wants to do such works through the mundane lives of all of us, not just me, or his disciples, but ALL of us, bar none. This past year has been the most personal I have ever experienced with God, and yet, he has been at work in my life since I can remember. I cannot help but think since I was such a sinner that he feels my testimony could mean something to others.

All I can tell you is He is real, He is absolutely amazing, and He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end and he knows you like no other. He knows your flaws, your strengths, your sins, your secrets, he knows who you want to be, and in order to become that person, the simple answer to become that person is to become His.

In the past year, I have become more and more at peace through Him, and that in itself is a miracle because I was always a big worrier, and you would think I'd have an ulcer by now with worry at what's going on in the world.

I'll tell you one more story and as I remember others, I will tell those as well. About six months ago I was extremely busy with many time commitments in my life and I accidentally stepped on the phone charger in my car and destroyed it. That same morning, I had accidentally gotten the end of my wall charger at home for my phone caught in my recliner and it had broken also. My phone was an older phone and I had very little battery left after breaking the wall charger. Then, I was really worried after I broke the car charger because had to be all over the place traveling all day long until well after dinner and my husband who had a stroke 2 1/2 years ago had not been feeling well and I was worried about him.

I was panicked I wouldn't be able to stay in touch and went from store to store trying to get a charger, any charger that would work with my phone but I was told at 3 places my phone was so old they don't make them anymore. I knew I could get one online, but obviously that wouldn't solve my immediate problem. In a last-ditch effort, I went to my phone store hoping maybe someone traded in a phone like mine and left a charger with it or they would have one laying around they could part with.

The place was absolutely mobbed and I was afraid I would be forced to get the upgrade on my phone I was eligible for but I didn't have enough money at the moment to pay the tax to get it. I prayed to God that he help me find a solution. I waited and waited in the store for a salesperson to be free, and just as he told me I was next, another couple walked in who had been there earlier that day and purchased a phone and that my salesperson would have to help them first because they had just been there. So, I continued to wait, and a very nice woman showed up who seemed distressed it was so busy. We just kept looking up at each other and smiling and then she asked if it was OK if she could go to the front of the line with a quick question for the salesperson when he was free. I said, I guess it would be OK if it was quick, and the three people behind me agreed. So, she came to stand next to me and I asked her what the question was, and she said that her brother had given her a phone for her birthday but that she could't use it and she thought maybe she could turn it in to her phone service company to get an account credit or something. I asked why she couldn't use it and she said that her phone was much newer and better.

She asked me why I was in line and I told her what I've told you to this point, and she said, "look, I've got to run and I really don't care about the credit. Why don't you take the phone just in case you can't find a charger and then you can have the salesperson turn that one on because it comes with both a perfectly good car charger and a wall charger." I tried to refuse but thanked her for her generosity, but she simply walked over to me and put the box with the phone in my hands and waved goodbye and walked away.

I was really frustrated at this point, because I had been waiting for over a 1/2 hour and I really had to leave or I'd be late for my next appointment, and I knew I didn't have the time to fiddle with a new phone or wait for the salesperson, so I walked out of the store with the box in my hand, plunked it on the passenger seat of my car and raced off to be at my next appointment in time.

As I drove down the road, I was angry because it was so important for me to stay in touch with my husband, as well as I needed that phone for business, so I was crying in frustration, and all of a sudden, I was drawn to the box sitting on my seat. I pulled over the next chance I had and looked at it for the first time. The box said it was a Pantech. My phone was a Pantech! I opened the box, took out the car charger, and it plugged into my phone perfectly. Now I was crying with joy and praising God for doing all of that just for me. What is so amazing is the woman told me while we had been waiting that she had been driving around with that phone in her car for the past week and nearly didn't go that day because she didn't have much time, and nearly didn't even enter the store because it was so busy, but she just wanted to get it over with.

I realize it's a long story, but its just another illustration of how even I, with my little worries of my very small person in the universe, our God takes the time to make things right for me because I believe in Him, and in the sacrifice of his son, Jesus. Things like this happen all the time in my life. It can happen for you. Please make it happen for you soon, for time is short.

Perhaps the greatest reason God acts so strongly in my life is that I make it a point to share his blessings in my life with others. I am being used as an instrument to strengthen the belief of others as well as bring more people to him. I realize in talking to people they don't seem to have the same experiences of synchronicities as often as I seem to in direct answer to prayer, but I think maybe this happens far more often to people than they think, even unbelievers or the unsaved.

While I always believed and always prayed, I was lost and a sinner and at times so far away from him. I knew what I wanted but I felt unworthy and so undeserving of his love. When I finally realized that all the synchronicities in my life surrounding prayer and my unwavering belief kept God knocking on my door, I finally realized what was happening and got saved through his son Jesus immediately.

Here I am 7 or 8 years later, and my life has completely turned around and not a day passes that God doesn't touch my life in a very personal way in some fashion. Life isn't perfect, but I'm never alone, for he is always with me and the rest just doesn't matter except to help others arrive at the same peace and grace that I have found through God and his son, Jesus. I pray that you all realize God acts in your life constantly and connect the dots and if you haven't been saved yet that you do so immediately. God bless!

Things sure are a mess; pretty much the whole world is in some form of distress or another. Do yourself a favor and sit down and read the Bible...everything is happening as it has predicted...those with ears to hear and eyes that see after reading the Bible would never again doubt God's Word.

To have read Revelation and the other prophetic books in the Bible and reflect upon what's happening now in the world and still reject God and Jesus can only be willfully turning your back to God and embracing sin. To hear or read truth and discard it means the person rejecting it is in denial.

I ask that those of you who have read it before because you were forced to go to church or raised in another religion or just have never read it to do so, keeping in mind that you have to want God's love and forgiveness in order to understand his Word and receive it. For skeptics, I ask that you read the Bible with an open mind and without judgement. He created us, our world, the universe...don't you think its not too much to ask to know what he wants for you? Please make a real effort to come to him through the forgiveness of sin earned by the willing sacrifice of his Son, and our Savior, Jesus.

It is all happening too quickly now to really keep up and time is too short to take your time making the decision to come to him. Let God fill the empty space in your soul you've lived with for so long; he left that space open in you to be filled with his love for you and you for him. he gave us free will to make that decision for yourself, and I am certain he's been present in your life for your whole life just waiting for you to let him in.

You were never aware of it while you felt alone even in a crowd, even in your family, even in your relationships, but he was there waiting patiently to get it, to know that he wants to take care of you. Know that you will never feel alone ever again with God's love and he will never burden you with more than you can handle. Set down your burdens, your fears, your sin, your regrets, and move forward with a clean, white slate of open possibilities in his love. God bless you all and remember, time is short. Ask him to forgive you your sins in the name of your Savior, Jesus,and that his sacrifice will open eternal life and entrance into the kingdom of heaven to you.

No matter what this world becomes or brings into your life, you will no longer be afraid because he will guide you, protect you; you will live forever. When you pass from this life, you will be changed and whole for the first time; no more pain, suffering, fear, sickness,disability, death, hunger, wars, sadness...you will only experience joy and happiness, love and goodness; you will never want for anything and you will live with God's Word and his law in your heart. Please do this, it is so important, and no matter what you've done in this life, it can still be forgiven you and be given a new start and he wants all of you for him with no exception. Its not too late, please do it now.

I just wanted to discuss what I meant when I say that God has always had direct interactions with me in life. I'm telling you so that you can also be aware because no one had told me and it took me a long time to realize that he was trying to get my attention. You could be in need and pray that you figure out what to do about your problem and suddenly either the direct solution appears out of no where whether you just suddenly know what to do or that the solution itself presents itself to you like my cell phone happening like I told you in a previous post.

Most often, I experience knowing I need something but may not even be certain what that is, and I will suddenly meet someone who either knows the solution or upon speaking with them I realize they were a direct answer to prayer and I hadn't even realized I'd prayed but I did.

It works the other way too; I feel drawn to talk to someone or help someone I don't know with something and then I realize that God wanted me to be their answer to prayer. It happens all the time. No, my life isn't perfect, but his constant, faithful love and abundance overwhelms me daily. I still have unpleasant things happen from time to time, but my response since I have been saved is with less anxiety and fear and more confidence that he is with me and I can get through it. I just put all my cares and worries up to him and he solves it. He really does.

I hope this helps; I would likely have come to him wholeheartedly and not halfheartedly as I'd been for many years had I been told this, and I hope it helps you to recognize how much he does for you daily when you believe, and even when you don't, because he's trying to get your attention and for you to give yourself to him. We are all more than just penises and vaginas.

Yes, we are more than our sex; we are God's children, we are parents, children of our parents, teachers, doctors, nurses, construction workers, we are all people. A little juvenile perhaps, but when we belong to a church of God, we are all body parts of the whole body.

You can't see all the parts just as you can't see someone's heart and lungs and private parts because we are clothed, but each and every part in a church makes the whole amazing. Everyone has different spiritual gifts given to them by God and every person's gift manifests in a way that contributes to the whole.

Spiritual gifts, as they are spoken of in the Bible are not the ability to make music, or sing, or even speak or write well, but the ability to witness, to preach, to heal, to discern spirits, etc. Talents are always welcome and valued in a church but the spiritual gifts are harder to discern and takes a person usually a longer time to detect and work on using it to the benefit of the church. As we all know, there are many many Christian churches out there, they are all different and many profess not altogether the same message; again this comes from different interpretations of the Bible, leaders of denominations skewing the message with personal prophecy.

Altogether, it says in the Bible that those who pray to God in the name of Jesus and believe in God cannot be evil. Leaders can be evil and cause their flock to stray from God's chosen path for us when it serves purposes that are their own be it for keeping up congregational numbers or backing down from the Bible to make more people feel accepted and not excluded by their lifestyles of sin.

It is important we choose churches that do not stray from God's Word as it is set out in the Bible. What God wants from us and the guidelines he has given us in the Bible are God's handbook for being his children and what will keep us healthy, happy, and good. When I said above that people feel excluded by their lifestyles of sin, that's the whole purpose of coming to God; to ask to be forgiven and change our lifestyle to match the goodness he gives us in return in our hearts. No one who seeks God should ever be excluded, but they need to adopt a position of regret and seeking forgiveness for their salvation to happen.

Religions that demand conversion to all they meet are not what God asks of us and defeats the whole message of engendering the love God has for us by loving each other. No person should ever be forced to pray to a foreign god, nor should they be forced to give up their life should they choose to continue to follow and love God and Jesus, but we are now beginning to see that worldwide, and the time of troubles has begun. I pray it not get worse, but I believe we are seeing the unfolding of Biblical prophecy right before our eyes. It is my hope that many who are lukewarm but still believe in Him will see undeniably that he is mighty and still very present and that the antichrist, if he is not already on the scene, will be arriving soon

Yes, we are. We are God's children and it is our soul attached to our mortal body that matters most. However, what we do with our body as well as our nether parts is very important to qualify for God's kingdom. When we belong to a church, the Bible likens each member being like a part of the body that makes up the whole body and that each part makes the body whole. We all have spiritual gifts (this takes time and concentration to discern) we bring to the table when we are members of a Christian church that enhance the connection of the church to God. No one part is more important than another; much goes on behind the scenes with members that do largely unnoticed but necessary things that make the worship service a great experience for all the members.

I think often when I read 1 Corinthians that were we to apply God's model for the church to our everyday lives and communal situations like work, home, sports teams, and other groups that it is God's model for teamwork that glorifies him regardless of the teamwork we are working towards. Everything we should be doing should glorify him. Never hide the light of God's spirit within you from others. I realize now that it is touchy preaching to others at work and I personally do not recommend it, but in all other aspects of your life you can. People need to see that light in you and want what you have; when you are filled with God's love their soul strains to have that too. I hope that the light in you inspires others to come to him. I realize some of this last post is redundant to the one before, but I somehow had lost the previous one and began typing this one and decided when the other also turned up to post it as well. God being exclusive to the Bible is like a rainbow having only one color.

God is not exclusive to the Bible, but it is his Word and it is literally the handbook he has given us about his faithfulness to us to encourage our faithfulness to him in worship. God is so mighty he cannot be contained, but the words in the Bible are his words manifested so that we may understand what he does for us. People who do not believe in the Bible and/or do not read it faithfully do not understand what perfection each and every concept in it is and that it is miraculous in itself; virtually every need you have of God is in it and reading it leads you to deeper communication with him.

By dismissing it entirely, that person denies himself deeper communion with their maker and their savior. This saddens me for you that you do not understand this and I pray for you that you will try to find out that by reading it more deeply and faithfully and then make a decision. Just promise that you will read it with open mind and open heart and let his Word do the rest. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will understand.

I have found in recent years that sadly, many churches are offering watered down Christianity to be less threatening and attract more churchgoers. They do not study the Bible although they may read verses in the course of their service. I think this is a fail on the part of clergy in that the Word is the best way for a person to come to God because we as humans know the Truth when we see it if we are not fooling ourselves otherwise.

I was brought up in a church that has increasingly fallen away from Bible-driven teaching and study and have since turned to a church that actively teaches the Bible in the course of sermon and service in addition to Bible study groups outside of the weekly service.

While I think it is still possible for people to come to God of their own accord, I think the Bible is what makes their belief in God and our Savior more complete, whole and give us deeper conviction. Many are falling away due to the watered down efforts of non-Bible driven churches because there is no meat to their message, and the meat is the Word. In this corrupt, fallen world, it is so easy to fall to temptation and fall away from God that the Bible is some of the glue that helps our conviction stay whole and true to him. It says many will turn away from him during he end times in the Bible, and the fact that the amount of practicing Christians in the U.S. attests to this.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

"Conerncing the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come, until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

I recently had a major disappointment that humbled me and crushed me and set me back in so many ways. I cried on and off for days and found myself grieving mightily for what I had worked for so hard and so diligently and only had a short time. I prayed and prayed for the Lord to ease my distress and comfort me. My family was wonderful and did their best to comfort me and it touched me but still I was distraught. I knew God had a plan for me in this happening to me, but I was hurting so bad I couldn't embrace that yet. I realized I had to speak to the minister at my church.

He heard me out and prayed with and for me and I left there feeling refreshed and new and looking forward to finding out what God's new plan is for me. That was the only conclusion I could come to. Just because something is painful and devastating to you doesn't mean its not part of God's plan for you and the outcome is just not clear to you yet.

My pride and my expectations were crushed, but my spirit is now better than ever and I just know His plan for me will be amazing because the lesson I learned was so powerful.

I know that he has been using me to strengthen the faith of others in my new church I've been going to for the past several months and they've told me so. The various members I have gotten to know have given me the same in return, and that is really the nature of God's love for us. He puts us in the circle of people who need what you have for them, and puts us also in the circle of people who have what you need from them.

Sometimes the power of his love is so powerful I feel it would crush me, but in a good way. I am so hungry for his love and his word all the time now, and I cannot help but think this is part of the labor pains and that Christians are being gathered to him to experience something huge that's coming...I can only hope that will be the Rapture.

I know that there are many who think the Rapture is a fallacy, but all my readings of Biblical texts have only strengthened my belief in it. The Rapture is the meeting with Jesus and God up in the air while the Second Coming or Glorious Appearance happens further down the end times timeline and those Raptured as well as all the previously martyred saints will be present with Jesus when he returns. The 144,000 will remain to preach to the Jews as well as the Gentiles along with many newly minted saints whose belief kicks in at the disappearance of many at the Rapture. Those new saints will be the new leaders of the new churches made up of those left behind who will come to God through Christ at that time when they realized their disbelief cost them having to go through the Great Tribulation. I hope you will be one of the great multitude in white robes that appear in heaven after the 6th seal is broken, and all it takes is a belief in God, and a belief that his son, Jesus died on the cross for forgiveness of our sins and rose from the dead and then was brought up to heaven to be with the Father. Its that simple.

Being a son or a daughter of the Father through Christ is becoming more and more difficult and there are evil forces at work to undermine your faith and take you from the path. It is becoming harder and harder for those who want God's redemption to receive it because again those forces are hard at work to keep you from Him. Society supports those best right now that don't believe and don't have faith and live lives ruinous to their souls. Don't give in just to fit in. Whatever you must struggle through between now and the Rapture is a very small price to pay for eternal life and salvation. Continue to run the race for that same prize and the time is short. I pray, Heavenly Father, that those who are undecided or ashamed or not knowing they need to you be filled with the spirit of contrition and the need to come to you through your son, Jesus. Make them thirst for the water and hunger for the blood of life, Amen.

I am calling out to faithful Christians to stand fast. Maybe its just me, but I feel that spiritual attcks against us are increasing and feel the strain but am determined to remain faithful through it. With everything that is happening in the world and in my life ramping up, I pray more, read the Bible more, am more than ever drawn to speak with other Christians.

I applaud the victory in Houston by right-wing conservatives and local Christian churches to vote down the transsexual law. I sincerely believe that equality rights extend themselves to making the majority of people uncomfortable for the ease of the very few. I think all people should be treated well and fairly and with love but all things all people do and express themselves with can disrupt the natural order of things and be overcompensated for by pandering to every group of people with their own select wishes and desires. TPTB want all of us to make drastic changes in society for a group of people that count for less than 5% of the population and their very lifestyle goes against everything a huge portion of the population finds aberrant.

Christians, for example, like myself know that Soddom and Gommorrah and the great flood all happened from rampant sexual perversion and deviant sexual behavior present on earth at those times. We Christians also know that the Bible specifically tells us if any of us behave in such a way or support or condone it that we will fall under God's judgement.

is it not a far stretch to believe that evil has befallen our government and many churches in the propaganda of the media in force feeding the mandatory acceptance of toleration of such behavior? I will never mistreat or be unkind to anyone who is LGBT or supports the LGBT movement; on the contrary, I pray for them, but I will not be forced to condone it, accept it or pander to it when my entire being is whole heartedly against that lifestyle because of my belief in God and God's word.

last I checked there was freedom of speech, freedom to practice my religion, and freedom to pursue happiness; all of which are completely trashed and denied me with passage of LGBT laws, and a whole plethora of ever-increasing denials of my faith for which my ancestors who arrived very early to the US in its history to practice their Christian religions traveled across the sea at great risk to their lives to found this amazing country. In their wisdom, they wrote into our Constitution and Bill of Rights freedom for people. It took a while to get it right and be inclusive of all humans, but once they did we were amazing. If you pander to any and all there is anarchy and ever-decreasing morality. I understand to be fair we can't go back to the fully Judeo-Christian country we began as but we as a country have to have some sort of moral compass and Judeo-Christian tenets led us very well up until recent history.

Now we have people people who believe in nothing but themselves and feeding their own personal pursuits. Since when does being different mean you should get preferential treatment? Where does that end? Thankfully, but very narrowly, an effort to make pedophilia a sexual persuasion was nixed...don't people see that living by the straight and narrow keeps things from breaking down and going crazy?

Right now, Muslims are flooding all the European-cultured countries like our own and demanding that sharia law be enacted at once? This is a religion that promotes destroying those who don't believe in their religion. How is that not hate? Satanists and atheists are spreading their hateful propaganda for their rights as well. Why is everyone sleeping? Why are so many people turning from tolerance to hate? When you legitimize hate and sinful self indulgence, society breaks down into chaos.

Don't you see this is what all those hateful groups want? They don't want the rest of us to be blissful in our belief and want us all to be miserable because underneath they are all miserable because they don't have God and they don't have Jesus. I feel sorry for every last one of them and pray for them, but I know its all happening because all Christians know what's coming. I pray all who read this see the truth and turn to him by asking for forgiveness for their sin from God through the sacrifice of his Son Jesus that they may be saved and sin no more.

I don't expect everyone to be Christian, though I would love them to; I love everyone though I don't always love what they do. Who am I to judge? I let God and Jesus do that. I pray that God saves us from all this distress and pain soon. It is becoming harder to hold fast. Do not give in, do not give up. Be loving and caring but do not be a doormat. Stand up for what you know is right. I know those of you that have and do suffer for it right now as I do. I know it is hard. As people decline in moral and spirit, they recognize that you are His and they can make life most difficult. In my experience, and moreso recently, it happens more often. I have nothing left in this disgraceful world to keep me and am willing to die if that is what is required to stand fast in faithfulness to God.

Please keep in mind we are running a race to the end with the prize to us as victors eternal life and cessation of pain, suffering, disability, loss, death, illness and the prescence of eternal bliss, peace, love, perfect communion with God and Jesus in your heart and mind. Imagine, no more war, no more struggle, no more despair. Keep that in mind...don't give in and don't give up. I pray that each and every one of you walks safely in the armor of the Word of God under his protection and blessing until our race is done and our reward given. God bless you all!

Thank you. I always have and will continue to do so. Going to church...all of you...together would be a great start. Just know He feels your pain and your efforts to hold it all together. I know you're hurting, but put all your trust in him, lay all your troubles on him and he will carry it for you. You don't have to be alone in this. Make God your champion and pray that he helps your family so that you can stay together and be OK. Ask God to help you reach out in compassion to your spouse and that he/she feels your love and recognizes it for the lifeline it is you offer that he/she 's not alone but you are right by their side. Things that are evil have always been wanting the power and glory of God for many, many years and they emulate what they cannot be and cannot have in an effort to usurp that power. They know not it is futile because God is all powerful, all-knowing and eternal and His power will edure for eternity while the evils ones will exist until the time God's judgement is upon them and throws them into the Abyss. It is already foretold and it is intevitable, for their time is short. He and His Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior will eradicate all evil and all negativity from the earth. I believe that time will be soon. You cannot turn one way or another and not hear and see the signs we were told to be faithful and watch for. We may not know the day or the hour but it is imminent.
