I remember old America:

orange sherbet push up pops in the summer time when the ice cream man came around

playing outside all day as a kid

candy sticks ten for a dollar

penny candy

collecting coke bottles for 10 cent deposits at the grocery store

I felt rich but I was poor

There was always an old lady who baked pies and we would go there and buy a fresh pie on friday from her house, and it tasted like heaven.

Good times, good times indeed. I want that life for my kids, they deserve that. It is so different now, and not in a good way.
