I would say that things which we perceive as "evil" are generally sick in the sense that they are attempting to fulfill a need in a way which is destructive to the external world, other beings, or themselves, or all three. I think it is likely that if they felt able to fulfill their need without affecting the external world they would do so. Why attract unwanted negative attention if it can be avoided? You talk about logic. This is a logical perspective. Yours is founded in base human emotions and a lack of understanding or empathy. Hence your certainty and view of "evil," a man made construct that allows us to define something deconstructive or harmful so we can hate and shun it rather than understanding where it comes from.

You talked about The Buddha before. Perhaps you should read about him, about what he thought about such things. His thoughts were much in line with my own on the above subject.

Also who said anything about the Dali Lama? Or reincarnation?

So child molesters are just trying to fulfill a need and my perception of them as evil is due to my lack of empathy and understanding. You are certainly a very amusing creature.

If you want to discuss mythology let's start with Nordic mythology. I find it interesting that the figure in the above mentioned crop formation, ad-Dajjal, and Oden are all depicted as having one eye or one eye damaged. Also, in old Nordic depictions of Oden they only show the left side of his face. Do you find that interesting as well?

Not that I pay much attention to the pile of bullshit that is Nordic mythology.

I would say child molesters are sick. They are aberrations from the norm. But I think it's a safe bet that they do not WANT to be child molesters which is why most of them never do. It is a much more common psychological phenomenon than we are led to believe and rarely comes to fruition. So if these people know they are somehow sick or unwell then how is that "evil?"

Evil is something which does what it does for no reason other than to be evil. As I said, I've never seen something like that. Only sickness mislabeled as "evil."

As far as Norce mythology goes...it's interesting to me because it's so old. It dates back way farther than the remnants of other mythologies that we see today. I don't know too much about it but I do know it's rooted to a lot of other cultures. There are even ancient stone monuments in North America such as those found in the Hudson Valley in New York. There is some evidence of a correlation between these monuments and UFO sightings. The Hudson Valley flap sightings were all concentrated in clusters around these monuments. Very interesting.

There you go again with that amazing definition of evil as something which does what it does for no reason. Then you throw in a little sympathy for the poor sick child molesters who don't really want to be sick. More blathering about how evil doesn't really exist and it's just a matter of "perception."

People who think the world is some sort of pointless playground that exists for their amusement, without consequence to law, cannot accept the existence of God or the reality of absolute Good and absolute Truth because to do so would be to admit to themselves their own immorality and failure to progress as a Universe child.

Typical of the deluded, once again completely ignoring my point about the one-eyed correlation between those "three" figures while sidetracking to fantasies about the superiority of Norse mythology because it's so much older than other "mythologies."

You only see what you want to see, and any evidence that doesn't support the fantasy you have built in your mind you ignore.
