This is correct. He is also the successor for the work of Jesus.

People that are expecting Him to return as the same figure, are forgetting the basic principle of creation; the same form exists only once in the course of time. The evolution of consciousness from our time-space perspective is a ongoing process, and it would be against the laws governing all-that-is-created, if the same form would physically materialize twice, especially when there is so much time between the two events. Even the flowers of the same species are all different - eventhough they may look the same. Every snowflake is unique and so on.

The successor is a single figure and the return of Christ and the beginning of the Golden Age also happens collectively through those that become the living vessels of the Cosmic Christ (there are many other names for this in other traditions too). From The Bible you can find basic instructions to get on this path in the mount sermon. There are also many other paths in different traditions; all the real paths will eventually lead to the same place, or should I use the word state here, because it is consciousness afterall being discussed here.

The one who is being called Jesus, passed the planetary initiation system, through it did a great job for humanity, and continues the work, learning and evolving in something bigger that follows our planets inner (solar) mystery school.

From a cosmic perspective our planetary intiatory system is only the beginning of a great journey.
