Every political party. If state's still had rights we could reverse the downward spiral. The feds wont have any part of that because it's what's keeping them afloat. |

Quoting: Zotar1111 More FUZZY Math...... CBO: Debt Headed to 103% of GDP; Level Seen Only in WWII; 'No Way to Predict Whether or When' Fiscal Crisis Might Occur Here To simply contain the debt at the high historical level where it currently sits—74 percent of GDP--would require either significant increases in federal tax revenue or decreases in non-interest federal spending (or a combination of the two). As of July 9, according to the Treasury, the debt held by the public was $13,102,609,587,775 and the intra governmental debt was $5,049,321,696,720. That equaled a total debt of $18,151,931,284,495. [link to cnsnews.com] That's just federal debt. overall debt to gdp is enormous. They wont even give us the numbers anymore Nevertheless, it can all be solved without austerity but its a planned crisis and its what they want |

The claim is that they can renege on those promises but there is no legal precedent to do so, AND if they don't honor those claims then it all falls apart anyway since retirees who have most of the money anyway will be broke and penniless. If you add up all those promises it's over $200 trillion. . |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 651868 ![]() 07/12/2015 10:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What that means is to pay it back everyone cannot even keep one penny for their own use for over a year. Can you live not spending even one penny on your own survival for a year, not on food, shelter or fuel. The only way you can pay is if they take your stuff and your life away. This is the plan. |
