So I made a thread about should I go on vacation due to an impending tooth infection a week or more ago .

So I went . The infection migrated from the tooth and parked its fat ass right in my sinus. Now Im nursing THE WORST sinus infection I've ever had in my 38 years . I was on prednisone for tmj from gnawing my jaw when it was in my tooth . TMJ is now gone . Also Im on like day 7 or so of penicillin which I dont think is actually doing anything to the infection . In fact it seems slightly worse than it did a couple days ago . Maybe due to being done with the prednisone ? dunno . So now im on the penicillin 4 200 mg ibuprophen every 8 hrs and just started a shot of franks red hot hot sauce every hour . Question is do you guys think the capsasin in the hot sauce may burn out the infection taking shots ? I mean the fumes ? It sure helped clear the congestion . But I can still feel a mass in my sinus that doesnt wanna break up.

Ive been using B3 Niacin(works better then anti-biotics) and 700 mg garlic tablets every 4 hours along with swishing collidal silver in my mouth to fight the infection.. [link to www.amazon.com] i take the silver hydrosol every 3-4 hours and havent had the infection return...it was starting to spread and i killed it.. YES to the colloidal silver. If you can make your own, so much the better, and MUCH cheaper. I killed a recurrent sinus infection using a neti pot and colloidal silver. I have had no signs of it since (this was earlier this year, and I would get sinus issues every year.)

One thing you can look into is a food grade hydrogen peroxide regimen. If you can't wait, you might be able to find some in your grocery store that does not contain preservatives. Dump a half a cap-full of that into your juice daily. You might get cold symptoms as the H2O2 starts expelling toxins from deep within your body. But you will be back to health in two weeks max. Buy some kleenex while you are at the store - there will be snot involved.

They should have told you to front load dosages of the antibiotic and then taper out.
