I want to skip my university introduction week???

I went to a university introduction week when I was a bachelor and it was crap. I met many people but mot of them were exchange students for some months and went back home. And we have nothing in common - they only talked about veganism, ecology, traveling, while I am interested in cars, houses, farm life, etc. And I like eating food, but not discussing it.

Now I am accepted in a Dutch university for my Masters and they have an introduction week but it looks like it's mostly for the beer-drinking party goers. guess this is a Netherlands' thing? I am not interested at all in parties and alcohol and at my former introduction week I felt like a fish out of water. And the ones who didn't attend the parties and bars were alienated from the clique. :) My question is - should I skip my introduction this time? It costs around 30 Euros.
