aguila or remington?
This thread is for genuine, experienced shooters. I shoot a S&W M&P22 using aguila sniper XXX 60g .22lr subsonic ammo. I've never had a problem with jamming. I've run off about 900 of them, so far. Yet, I hear it's going to jam far more than, say, hypersonic Remington Stingers.

What's the real deal, here? Please get as technical as you need. I'll look it up if I lack the proper vocabulary.

If your gun likes the ammo you feed it and you like the results there really is no reason to change unless you need an alternative when your supplies dry up.

Re: aguila or remington?
If it works, no worries. Typically subsonic rounds achieve lower velocity with a lighter charge. Often this is not sufficient to reliably cycle semi autos

Re: aguila or remington?
The problem with subsonic ammo is that the lower powder charge has a problem fully cycling the action. If you use a suppressor, it allows more of the energy to move the action back. If you are not experiencing problems with that ammo, then you probably never will.

My advice is to sell that piece of shit S&W and buy a real gun made of real metal.

If you doubt me just try to take it down to screws and parts and clean it. Cheapest shit construction in the world.

If you want an auto loader 22 get a Browning Semi Auto. Same design has been made for over 70 years, will never jam, breaks down into two 18" pieces and goes back together in five seconds, made of real metal, and it will eat those Aguillas all day without jamming.

The Aguilla sub sonics are fucking amazing and are quite lethal even against two legged varmints. They are what the Israelis use to assassinate children.

Re: aguila or remington?
Remington .22 ammo is not made by Remington. Some third world dirt farm makes it. Dirtiest ammo out there.
