[link to www.instagram.com (secure)] [link to www.instagram.com (secure)] [link to www.instagram.com (secure)] I think, my level of English is mostly thanks to reading books. Because I can't remember a day when I studied it seriously. Hey man. Thanks for the reply. I kinda was pulling your leg on this one ;) but thanks again for the confirmation. I do have a question for you. as ive seen many vids of russian people they come across like harsh and tough people. How do most russians stand on immigration? I mean how do you treat those people? I dont talk about muslims. But what about dutch people Well, that's my way of dealing with jokes too. If it's inclear how to react, react in full seriousness. Even if you'll look stupid as a result, it's still better than not reacting at all. :) Actually, it depends on region mostly. Obviously, the further you'll get from the capitals the more people there are suspicious of strangers - especially of foreigners. But, as far as I know, you'd rather have harder time with officials than with the common people. You'd be expected to learn Russian language and some common sense rules though. That's one of the reasons we don't have immigrant ghettos some Western cities acquired lately. Here's also reaction of one of my favorite pundits, Mikhail Leontyev on the similar question I asked him: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Again thank you for the reply. [link to krasvremya.ru] Here's the map of Russian regions. Red are regions that give money to Federal budget. Blue are regions that receive money from Federal budget. For some recipient regions there are two numbers: light blue - amount of money do region receive per person (in 1000s of rubles) and dark blue - amount of money region receives as a whole (in billions of rubles). The greatest recipient "per person" is Kamchatskiy Kray - 6 times more than Chechnya. The greatest recipient in absolute value is Sakha Republic (Yakutiya) - 3 times more than Chechnya. They are engineering a special cars for Russian president and ministers. [link to www.autonews.ru] There will be a civilian variation too. Well, the whole matter is working on a pendulum principle. Even here the same can be seen: there are housewives that'll do a full makeup to visit a grocery store, men who'd rather not eat properly, but will buy another premium whatever... but it has declined lately, people are getting calmer and more self-sufficient. I personally have three universal sets of clothing (one for a season) plus three demisesonal ones - it concludes my wardrobe. Well, except of the special occasions. My family uses simple cars - Opel Meriva and Suzuki SX4 at the moment - because they are comfortable and easy to drive. All while being able to buy more expensive car... but we just don't need that. Actually, I just thought of another reason why we don't have cool cars. Russian roads are quite a picture by itself. It's actually easier and cheaper for every Russian family to have a Jeep than to build and repair all Russian roads into something passable. Since you insist on your right i would insist on ours. What do you think as an historian, how are the chances for 96 respectively 70 year old claims on foreign populated and cultivatet terretorium? Well, the result in that book is quite interesting: [link to www.odnako.org] - a huge Russian Empire with Orthodoxy as state religion... But yeah, the union between Germany and Russia is quite more natural thing that what's happening now. Pyotr Durnovo was telling the same a century ago. Also he predicted revolution and many other things that happened as a result of unnatural union between Russia and Britain: [link to www2.stetson.edu] Whether it be royal background or not, I truly wish Germans in particular and Europeans in general to find a true leader. Because in such period of history the side without strong leadership is bound to be played by others. Also I wish that this time Anglo-Saxons to fail in making us fight among ourselves. Actually, we do know that. And that's the reason why we didn't blame common people of Germany. Goebbels did his work well... But, of course, it doesn't justify "Ost" and other performed and planned atrocities. Hence de-nazification policy after the war. Though it was corrupted by the fact that Allies were split then, which resulted in dragging out some of the Nazi criminals and using them against each other. I don't think that in the modern state of the world there's a meaning to classical imperialistic (meaning "colonial imperialistic") policy. I'd say that the main faulty of what Germany tried to do during both WW1 and WW2 was that your ancestors tried to use British model of empire-building. The second mistake was bringing this policy close to your borders. Actually, the colonial policy only works if metropolitan and colonies are far from each other. If you want to build a continental empire, you should behave like Russian Empire did - chip out small parts along its border, integrate them and then repeat the process. In this sense the policy of economical integration of EU is much more perspective, I think. Though, introducing "liberum veto" into it and allowing Eastern European countries enter and to have a vote in it was surely a huge mistake. "When every one is dead the Great Game is finished. Some people do that here in North america, one end of the continent to the other. Russia much much bigger though. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62103152 There are two factors actually. You are right, Russia is bigger: direct line between New York and San-Francisco is 4000 km or so, while the one between Anadyr and St. Petersburg is 6500 km. The real distance on earth is 9000 km or so. And the second factor is the quality of roads. It's almost impossible to go all this way on your everyday car. You'll need a real Jeep at the very least. And roads are in this sorry state mostly because of the climate. Note that even Moscow is a bit further to the north, that Hudson gulf's southern edge. Roads are destroyed by the weather alone here. But answering the first question... Well, the farthest I went from Moscow on a car in Russia is probably 300 km or so - Yaroslavl, Vladimir. But I've been in all even remotely historical places in this radius. Also, I've traveled to St. Petersburg and Saratov by train and to Voronezh by plane. That concludes my travels inside Russia for now. Thanks for replying. =) Watched a few videos of roads in Eastern Russia, yes they do look a little rough. It's nasty and unnatural. I'm from Argentina originally and women there no not to associate with blacks, ecspecially those from the US. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 70937832 Germany 12/01/2015 03:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hello Tamonten, I am the one from this thread "maybe the russians like to stay in germany after all.." There is a specific question: what if I actually would welcome the russians to come to germany, as I think this is the only way left to clean the garbage of the country away... Now, may I ask you, how could I possible let these russian soldiers know that in our house they are welcome for food and rest. Could I possible put a sign outside that says "welcome russian friend" or "finally you have come" - in russian? Anything to make them understand we are happy that they have come? But not in a frivolous manner, but really from the heart. What could we possible do? Please advise us. Thank you. . |
