Why would an uber billionaire sacrifice the millions he's losing from not doing apprentice, the millions he is losing from businesses like Macys shutting down the Trump brand, Lose his own money campaigning - Face public media ridicule and attacks that could also affect his reputation and his businesses just to help Hillary who he has repeated stated will probably not even make it to the actual elections if she ends up in jail.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense that this is all just some kind of ploy.
