Peter Schiff predicts doom 100% of the time. Eventually he's right but mostly he's wrong.

The people that make money are the ones that come out ahead. The ones that live in endless fear are the ones that squander everything.

no no no, he's not 'eventually right'. understand, he didnt just yell doom at the housing market collapse, he understood all of the precipitating factors and what went into it, explained them, and then commentated on it as they played out. and hes not a one hit wonder either, he predicted the dotcom burst too. and lots and LOTS of other things.

its not so simple as 'a prediction' and even though his forecast on, for example, the housing market collapse was spread out over a period of time, he literally called it in the months leading up to it and right before and AS it happened.

its just nonsense to say 'he always predicts doom and eventually he is right'. no, he understands that the system is deeply flawed and cannot sustain himself. therefore, his overarching prediction is always doom, but not doom for the sake of doom, doom for very real and valid reasons. and when it comes to the individual factors inside of that doom, he is always correct too.

and i hardly ever hear him make predictions that are legit untrue.

The guy is far from the best.Ray Dalio is much more respected by nearly everyone on the street. Schiff has some valid points at times but keep in mind guys like him who are always claiming to have nailed the top often make that top call 50 times before they actually get it, and if you tried to trade his calls without having endless amounts of money to add to the losing position you'd likely blowup before seeing the profit.

i follow him closely, he did not make the calls 50 times before it happened. he was on top of them the whole time. the financial establishment never wants to give this guy the credit because he is 100% calling them on their fuckin bullshit all of the time. he is a straight shooter and thats why they are afraid of him.
