I honestly think it would be a good idea to grant the first abortion, but if a second abortion was requested.... the woman should be sterilized at that time, also.

I have never heard anyone say that. Never. Especially young girls. Most abortions are performed before the sex of the fetus can be determined on ultrasound and while I have seen some extremely cruel attitudes to twins and sex selection abortions I would think those women would come to regret it very much.

Well todays culture has got worse.

But since abortion is used as a contraception now a days then they actually are just very " weak excuses".

Yes. A few years ago even a girl texted me that she was getting rid of 'IT' because the boyfriend didn't want 'IT'. She is 22 and did eventually have the baby, but has since had 2 other abortions because she wanted daughters and already has a boy.

Well the reasons that people have abortion now are not investigated so literally no one really cares.

You also have a lot of men intimidating women into having abortions too but that will never be reported.

In fact no one knows the real reasons behind abortion because no one is trying to prevent women from having them.

I few years ago there was an incident in Ireland where an Indian woman tried to perform an abortion on herself at 17 weeks gestation. She was unable to complete the abortion and went to the hospital where, as far as the doctors knew, she was suffering a miscarriage.

At 17 weeks gestation it is very rare for a fetus to spontaneously abort. If there are some sort of issues with a fetus it will usually spontaneously abort, or miscarry, prior to twelve weeks gestation. When a woman suffers a miscarriage at seventeen weeks it is usually due to outside influences like some sort of trauma or disease. The woman's body will go into labor and she will deliver the fetus as she would a fully formed baby. This is actually the least invasive way to handle a miscarriage at such a late stage. An abortion surgery could be very damaging.

So this woman was from India and she was living in Ireland and she was working as a dentist which can be a lucrative business. She is married and she and her husband discover they are pregnant. They are happy with the news and it is their first child.

At about 15 weeks she finds out she is having a girl and according to the husband they are both excited about having a girl. They tell their family they are expecting a daughter.

This is where it foes bad..... very bad.

The Husband's parents travel to Ireland from India. No small task and all to visit their son... They are int town when their daughter-in-law suffers severe back pain and upon examination it is discovered that she is leaking amniotic fluid.

Even though the baby is still alive there is no way to save it. Her baby is dying. Somehow the Placenta was pierced and the amniotic fluid is leaking.

I sensed it right away. The evil mother-in-law insisted on traveling to Ireland and told her daughter-in-law to get rid of it because she was carrying a girl. The daughter-in-law was being a dutiful woman and attempted to end her pregnancy.

It cost the woman her life. Her blod became infected and she died. All because she was told to end her pregnancy.

In India, girls are a burden and most middle class dowry's are around $20,000. It was selfish act by the husband's family.

I knew a chick that had 3 abortions before the age of 20! She was very nonchalant about it too, which was really off-putting. A close friend of mine was sleeping with her when we all found out.

I don't know. I don't think it's that common anymore. But back in the seventies, there definitely were some bitches then. Pretty ones and abortion was their birth control. Knew this because my girlfriend would tell me about these ladies back then.

I was on the shot in between births and later learned it can easily cause sterility, took nearly two years off it to catch preggers again. You get it 4 times a year. WHY IS THAT TOO MUCH TO DO?

I'm not sure about in the US but over here all a girl has to do is go to the GP or a family planning clinic and tell them she is worried, scared about becoming a parent, the boyfriend wants nothing to do with the child, she can't cope as a parent or whatever and they will do the referral to the abortion clinic on the NHS with very little hesitation. For young girls, and older parents who already have children, getting an abortion on the grounds that the child is not the sex they wanted is also permitted and not questioned. They just tick the box on the little form that is closest to that option.

All they have to do is tick a reason they want the abortion such as 'not ready for parenthood' or a medical reason or whatever and the NHS takes care of the rest.

Do they know they are sacrificing their children ? Probably not in most cases

It is a serious problem in England, and I do specify England versus the entire U.K. because there is a large population from India and their culture is perfectly fine with aborting girls.

There are a lot more Indian men than women and many will try to sneak into the Europe claiming to be Syrian.

The European immigrants are almost all men. It is ridiculous. It will be a scary place for women with so many men and not very many women.

There is very poor sex education out there for women on sex and the reproduction process.

And no support after the abortion.

There are no questions asked as to " issues" effecting why the woman is having an abortion.

Men see these women as a " free ride" very often using and disposing of them afterward.

The reason for multiple abortions is there for " lack of support on womans issues". Noone there to help these souls.

And no one feels guilt afterward although some women do suffer emotional trauma not always right away maybe years later.

Other women may care less.Depends on their view, but the shock can come later. That wow..

If the girl has no education or no " grown up talks" with her folks then Id bet she is more likely to have an abortion at some point in her life.

If women have some one to talk to alot less abortions for sure. To talk to about her " feelings " and about which contraception methods are best for her.

Because a great many women are terribly naive they really think that a man will help them if they fall pregnant, but the men just dont have the means or cant frankly be bothered to stick around.
