NEW YORK, Aug. 15 (UPI) --Donald Trump will take time out of his busy campaign schedule Monday to report for jury duty in Manhattan, his camp said.

Trump has been summoned to State Supreme Court and will appear after the weekend, Trump campaign Michael Cohen said Friday.

"Despite the time that Mr. Trump is required to fulfill this civic obligation, the campaign will continue to go on," Cohen said. "He is happy to comply with his civic obligation."

Trump, who has been a controversial candidate for the Republican nomination, will spend the weekend in the Midwest. In Iowa, he has pledged to give fair goers free rides in his private helicopter, the New York Times reported.

... yep. And if he is excused from jury duty, they will paint him as a reprobate shirking his duty, and if he endures the selection process they tie up his schedule. If selected, then the defense and prosecution have to deal with him being the center of attention from all of the previous publicity, and then they can opt for a mis-trial at a later date, and the media gimps can make hay over that. Either way, they get more stuff that they can hype and possibly get him to do something that they deem horrendous. Possibly painting him as complicit in whatever the defendant is charged with, or, as soft on crime.

im a taregeted individual and its likely a number of times jury summons were issued to me at times when they were most disruptive

ridiculous some cases can take months will trump gave to stop
