Solomon's temple is located at the Jerusalem archaeological park
I just want to share my theory on where Solomon's temple is located.

Here is a picture of the archaeological park, located just south of the Al-Aqsa mosque:
[link to s77.photobucket.com]

I believe, Solomon's temple is located in this area:
[link to s77.photobucket.com]

The green lines represent the original walls surrounding Solomon's temple. The yellow lines represent the area where I believe Solomon's temple is located.

The red lines are the walls made by Herod to extend the area of the temple, where he added 2 walled areas for the court of gentiles and the court of women.

The blue lines are the walls made by Herod for the Fort Antonia.

Furthermore, I believe calvary is located due East of Solomon's temple. This makes the summit of the old Jewish cemetery, as the location of calvary.

Herod's temple is 600 feet by 600 feet. I used Google earth to measure the area where I believe Solomon's and Herod's temple are located, and it was exactly 600 x 600 feet.

It is argued by others that Herod's temple occupied a square of 600 feet at the south-west of the "enclosure."

According to Josephus, there is a wall within Herod's temple that separates the court of the Gentiles from temple proper where only Israelis can enter:

Several remains of Herod's stately temple have by recent explorations been brought to light. It had two courts, one intended for the Israelites only, and the other, a large outer court, called "the court of the Gentiles," intended for the use of strangers of all nations. These two courts were separated by a low wall, as Josephus states, some 4 1/2 feet high, with thirteen openings. Along the top of this dividing wall, at regular intervals, were placed pillars bearing in Greek an inscription to the effect that no stranger was, on the pain of death, to pass from the court of the Gentiles into that of the Jews.

Theres no time or date given for the alleged lives any king David or Solomon, not a sigle remnant exists wiith their name, not a sigle iscription anywhere in any other history has noticed their lives, very mucha curious condition for such great kings.

discussing the alleged derivatives of lives that never were is a waste of time and a clever device to obscure the fact that myths from liars and invaders have to be evaluated with caution.

Re: Solomon's temple is located at the Jerusalem archaeological park
In addition to separating the court of the gentiles via a wall, Herod's temple also separates the court of women, the court of men, the court of priests, and the temple floor via a difference in the floor's elevations:

Within this partition wall stood the temple proper, consisting of, (1) the court of the women, 8 feet higher than the outer court; (2) 10 feet higher than this court was the court of Israel; (3) the court of the priests, again 3 feet higher; and lastly (4) the temple floor, 8 feet above that; thus in all 29 feet above the level of the outer court.

The Jerusalem archaeological park does show a floor plan of varying elevations.

Re: Solomon's temple is located at the Jerusalem archaeological park
41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
 Quoting: John 19

John tells us that Calvary, or the place Christ was crucified is located near a garden cemetery.

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open.
 Quoting: Matthew 27

Matthew tells us that those witnessing the crucifixion of Christ and his death must have the temple curtain and several tombs within their view. This means Calvary must be located due East of the temple (which is facing East), and is located near a cemetery.

This is the reason why I believe the old Jewish cemetery located due East of the Jerusalem archaeological park is where Calvary is located.

The OP used a clearer aerial photo of the Jerusalem archaeological park, the measurement of the propsed Herod's temple walls were made using Google earth, which isn't very clear.

You can go to Google earth yourself, and search for the Al-Aqsa mosque and measure the propsed area yourself.

And no they didnt find any biblical shit at the notton of the ocean either.
anything falling into theread sea a few thousand years ago would be buried under approximately 30 ft of silt and anyway anything wood is eaten by worms in a few years, if you bother to learn history and arvheology the Egyptians built their war machine from wood and leather, metal was too valuable to discard in battle.
