Is it time to move to Linux after all the Windows 10 Spyware O/S posts !?

I've been running Debian for years.

Somebody brought in their laptop this morning to see if I could connect them to wifi. It had Windows 10 on it. I can't even use Windows anymore. I seriously had not the slightest clue where to even start.

So, I just stick with my Debian 8 and my Cinnamon DE. Works for me.

After reading up on windows 10 i decided it was finally time to give MS the boot.

I switched to linux and dont plan on going back.

Right now im using mint 17.2 and theres nothing i cant do that i could do on winblows. I also gave Ubuntu a shot but i seem to really like Mint better.

I say go for it OP. Its time to boycott. Lets stop giving that rich asshole more money.

Just doesn't make any business sense if you ask me... They are just asking for trouble, specially in this day and age when more and more people now are starting to wake up to Big Brother, the NWO etc...

straight up, no b.s. -- is Linux a totally plug-n-play platform, with all the same kind of features as Windows,
and has measures for being compatible will all non-exotic software ?
