Cathy O'Brien and her handler Mark Phillips have apparently kidnapped a young girl named Shaela Miller and are mind controlling her.

Why would anyone let their daughter go off with some youtube people? I'm stuck right there.
Now, to get to Cathy O'Brien and Mark Phillips specifically. If they are being 100% truthful, then they would be in danger. Thus the daughter would be. If they are 100% lying, then they are absolutely untrustworthy. If they are telling partly the truth, partly things they believe to be the truth, and partly being not so truthful then there are multiple causes of concern.
BTW, Michael Aquino is dead. Him writing 'complete cranks' (and that's all) isn't proof of anything.
Consider many things, but be cautious.
I've read Sue Ford's book and Cathy O'Brien's book. In my opinion, they are telling similar stories but different stories.

When Shaela was a month shy of 19 they offered her a job after meeting her at a conference in the Mt. Shasta area, 5 hours from our home. We all thought Sheala was going to do great things by helping M&C get the word out. Shaela was an adult. We were proud of her and she was going to go help them with their seminars, be their assistant and travel abroad. It sounded like a great job opportunity at the time. I don't believe your husband sexually abused your daughter. The crap she's uttering is typical of a brainwashing victim. I've come across countless stories with regards to these weirdo cult leader-type couples who are expert in brainwashing techniques... many of them are found at new age workshops / conferences in the Mt. Shasta area. My bet is Philips has turned her into his sex / work slave, but has hypnotized your daughter into believing her dad is the abuser instead. Why else would he want to keep a young, beautiful model dependent on him for so long? Sorry for saying it, but that's what I think is likely the case. This whole thing has sinister connotations of the Jaycee Lee Dugard case.
