This might not be a bad thing. One of my cousins, kind of a black sheep of the family, lives in that area. He believes in GMO etc., and has a laboratory that he works in during heavy lightning storms, and some of his modified guineas and grouse escaped into the hills. He won't tell us how he modified them, but the last I heard he was seriously considering calling the authorities, for the public good. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what is behind this.

They're back burning, the only effective way to stop fires of this magnitude.

No. Not where there is no fire, and not without some kind of crew to manage it

Back burning is not effective and has never stopped a n NCW Fire, only fighting from the air, these are steep slopes people not fields in Kansas.

Are they now purging the designated areas (at least of uninsureds) ?

Given the proliferation of recording media these days, the story is bullshit until we see the evidence. Gimme a vid, and maybe some corroboration...

Back-burning is the only way to stop fires of this magnitude and especially in steep territory where it is difficult for crews to operate.

Unless it's initial attack on small fires, the action you see with firefighters spraying water on fires is mostly mop-up.

I have always wondered if these fires are being set for nefarious purposes. Not saying I buy the OPs theory

1) criminal gangs setting fire to forests blackmailing the prisons to release their gang members.

2) someone is trying to depopulate the earth of its trees.

I suspected that. I didn't know that China owned the US National Forests. I knew they owned Yellowstone but didn't know they owned all of the forests. I just think TPTB are working hard to destroy this country and Obama is looking in the other direction.



And something is going on with YS. Every few days or so there is a tiny EQ at Old Faithful Geyser. What are they doing there?

But seems to be correct to me.

I am in North Central Washington State and have been displaced due to the fires.

I am currently at a Red Cross Shelter.

The amount of fires here is unprecedented and completely OFF THE HOOK!

There haven't been any thunder and lightning storms either.

So what and who are starting them all?

I know that for the fires that displaced me out of Twisp they are already posting signs seeking more information from the public about the possible cause.

United Nations back burning on AMERICAN SOIL? ... Hell No!

Just talked to another guy who said that he heard from somebody he knows that they saw a black van with some people get out and start a fire near Okanogan.

He also confirmed to me that there are many fires burning near Okanogan and that there has not been any thunderstorms or lightning either.

He said the golf course even caught on fire and nobody knows what caused it.

Folks in case you haven't been paying attention, the forests in the Pacific NW are bone dry due to the ongoing drought.

One carelessly discarded cigarette butt is all it takes to start them off.
