Humans harvest lesser animals for food, because humans are power powerful and intelligent. We need food to survive, so we harvest them in rather inhumane ways, because we can. Most humans don't really care much that we do this.

It isn't hard to imagine that 4D entities might be harvesting human Souls for food, because they are more powerful and intelligent. They need Souls to survive, so they harvest us in rather inhumane ways, because they can. We treat animals the same way, so why couldn't they treat us like this?
