no, that's why we initially decided to bit the bullet and buy ONE bottle of water each....then we were going to refill them...but alas, it wasn't working so we ended up spending MORE money on freaking water!

supply and demand? maybe you and friends can pack up more water than you'll need and charge for 'em? make money while having fun?

IF we were allowed to bring in our own water! They wouldn't allow it..they were dumping all liquids kids tried to bring in.

Awesome! I have always wanted to go hang-gliding(assuming that is what you meant!) The closest thing I have coming up that is anywhere as cool is an aikido retreat in Florida in October!

not hang gliding...ummmm...where you sit inside a glider and a plane tows you to anywhere from 3,000-4,000 feet and the rope is disengaged and you glide...on the wind...turn...roller coaster...moves...and see...at least for sixty miles or more. it was blue skied and sunny and could see for many miles the patchwork quilting of the lands below. awesome lands. will always be grateful to have seen all that. ohhhhh, know you'll have a great time at the retreat! enjoy...go gliding.

speaking of aikido...do you rush into that? or lay low and distribute in such a way that you do not go off your center? much easier to not take your center too high...stay grounded in your center.

k, i would be ticked too, but i do have to point out wtaer is not free, last time i checked i paid a hydro bill with water charges on it, try filling up a swimming pool a couple times during a summer , see how the bill gets bigger?... thats cause water aint free,... rain water , yes,.. city hydro ,.. no. But i do agree with sireen ,... water should be free with any meal "purchase" in any fast food store, especially if its a replacement for pop, customers should not have to be forced into buying bottled water, like at most bars, nowadays.

when one keeps feet firmly grounded to the ground...it is difficult to throw that one off balance. if you're doing from say...your shoulders and arms rather from a balanced position...it is easy to throw that one down. you want to do the first.

Your right salimander... if a person is centered and not extending their ki then they are near impossible to throw... but there are 'tricks' that can be done.. such as sending ki into their forehead to cause their weight to shift topside... or telling them that they cannot stay centered.

It works.. I do it in golf tournements to opponents... They never realize what I am doing.

don't have a clue what ki is...i take it that it is energy. if they believe what you tell them...then and only then can they not stay centered. if they don't believe you...you will the one uncentered. tricks are odd as they can backfire. i know you'll have a great time.

Last week, my shihan and I were doing a balancing exercise against each other... He was throwing me all over the place.. then I noticed him pointing at my forehead.. I knew he was doing it after that..

And it still worked.

(I did it to him in return once... the only time I threw him all day.)

Consider it done, my friend. I usually try to think good things about my friends all the time but I will pay special attention to sending some good luck your way!

Republician congress today passed emergency water bill for the poor. Water topped $5 a gallon last month on speculation that the Canadian embargo will last as long as 6 months. When the President was asked "How can you justify all the green golf courses when people are dieing of dehydration?" He said "This conpromise bill may not let the poor bath, but it will keep them alive."

Lots of stuff pisses me off, lately.

Last week I went into a sort of antique store/flea market mall. They had little lockers where you had to lock up your purse before you could go in. I started to leave, right then, but decided since I was already there--what the hell?--you know?

I had the key to the locker around my neck, but felt unbalanced (physically!) while looking at the merchandise. I didn't stay long, and won't go back. The more I thought about it, the more POed I got. For pete's sake(!) anything I could get in my purse would have fit in my pocket.

Also seems like sex discrimination since not many men carry purses around here.

What's next, disrobe and put on a one-size-fits-all robe with no pockets before you're allowed to shop?
