I'm sure it was Berenstein Bears.

And didn't James Earl Jones die?

And isn't New Zealand to the left of Australia?

And isn't the earth flat?

No, no, no. You don't get it.

The point is that all the existing books (and photos of them) have changed the spelling from -stein to -stain.

So you will not find any books with -stein on it.

Old books were always -stain though. That's the creepy part.

As much as this one messes with my head, the change from "Luke, I am your father" to "No, I am your father" might be even worse.

Holy shit you are right! I swear it has always been "Luke.." but now it says "No...I am your father" wtf when did this happen? Why would that be changed? What is the significance?

You must not be versed in merging / shifting timelines.

Histories change. Words on physical pages change. Memories change for those close enough to the source.

Thread fail.

Not necessarily a significance. The way I see it, changes probably occurred to many, many things, but we notice them most on certain things that have had a stamping affect on our minds. Like, if some pond now is in a slightly different shape, it would be far less noticeable to far less people than the changing of certain words that were broadcast to massive amounts of people, that they'd all remember. So the idea is that not only books and movies have changed but that it's where the most people would notice where a change did occur.

Re: BerenSTAIN Bears....
it was always Stein

i would have had had an issue with its pronunciation as a child if it was Stain, which it wasn't.

Since Stein is always pronounced "styne"
and Stain, would be pronounced "stayne" unless I was corrected, which I wasn't.

Like the other guy above me said, entire histories can change.
