As a result of our pathetic food, obesity is practically average. In addition, 3 out of 10 of today's teens are on prescriptions meds long term. I've said over and over again that the US cannot be saved from its downward spiral unless this is fixed which of course it won't be. If the US were a person, it's over eighty years old with a long list of ailments. A person like that won't make it to 90. Likewise the US won't make it to 2025. Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved. |

There is a distinctly different chemical "tang" in the USA as opposed to food in most of Europe, in my experience - especially the fruits and veg, and DAIRY! And people across the pond are more likely to eat 'in season' than we do in the US. GOD, I miss Dutch cheese on a daily basis! Tons of farmers markets to buy local fruit/veggies, homegrown eggs, local honey, local meats and fish, products made from these whole ingredients, etc. There are some Co-ops that have a lot to offer as well. Great soil for gardening yourself. There are some raw food restaurants as well. Lots of vegan places to eat and TONS of vegetarian places. My dad's business is actually in the heart of "Vegan Distract." |

I never buy them from a store. We will have our own chickens by next summer. We buy our meat from a family friend who raises his chickens on his land and his cattle on Amish land. The meat from the grocery store looks gross and we haven't bought meat from a grocery store in years. We get our goat's milk from our next door neighbor and hope to raise our own goats by next summer also. We had been buying organic fruits and veggies from the store until we planted our own garden. What a difference that made. Our soil is rick and black. I'll never forget the first time I bit into a tomato from our garden. I hadn't had a tomato that tasted that good since I was a child and had forgotten how good they were. I couldn't stop stuffing them into my mouth. Even the organic tomatoes I purchased from the store tasted like water compared to the ones from our garden. |
