Ha! Throughout the series, something in the recesses of my mind consistently tries to equate Evil Corp as Google, especially when I try to consider a better 'fit' for its meaning.

This is the thought that I had when reading the statement above.

They are truths being hidden in the open, right before our eyes. It is that 'catch-22' where the deceivers can say the truth was always there, but those who feel deceived never bothered to look for it.

Craziest part was when his split personality was having a rant about society, GMOS and I'm not sure what else haha.

Definitely see the predictive programming in the show.

Surprised no one has commented on how the asian guy in the last scene was White Rose. This adds an interesting dimension to the story, evoking images of Chinese hackers being a big part of the story. Note how this reinforces the 'hubris' theme at the party with the rich guys. It seems White Rose is checking the time at about the same time the knock comes on Elliot's door, implying some link.

WHITE ROSE was the tranny from the previous episode #8.

He wanted Elliot to do his bidding and remove the HP from infected server so the DARK ARMY could do something to Evil Corp.

The odd thing is that WHITE ROSE was sitting WITH the CEO of Evil Corp in the extended final scene and acting aloof at to who was behind the damage. Then WHITE ROSE's alarm went off and he hinted about Rome burning. Why would WHITE ROSE want to harm the CEO of Evil Corp if they were cordial?

So many twists and turns in that story and I love it. Great writing and acting.

Watching episode 1 now. I think this show m8ght be a message from the white knights.

Would just like to say that in episode 7 when Tyrell kills Sharon on that rooftop, this is the song that was playing.

She's kinda of "earthy and weird" but her vocals are amazing.

There was a lot of speculation as to why Angela was hired to work for Evil corp.

Remember the extended scene with White Rose and the CEO at the mansion discussing they knew who was behind the hack.


Well, someone on another board said this:
"obviously they know who he is, they hired angela to get him. they'll prob use her as some sortof hostage to get him to come out of hiding."

My take is the next season will open with the leaders of Evil corp thinking Tyrell was behind it because he was pissed that he got fired from Evil corp or they DO know that Elliot was behind it and they are using Angela a bait. White Rose already knows what Elliot looks like because remember Elliot and the shemail met up in that faraday cage in episode 8.

Season 2 is rumored to debut next summer.

Wasn't White Rose complicit in the hack?

Before watching the show I heard it was about a collapse that was actually planned by the elites themselves.

White Rose gave Elliot 50 hours 23 minutes to figure out how to remove the wedge on the server. The Dark Army must've needed that to happen in order for fsociety to complete the final task.

Pretty sure season two we'll get to see the complexity of the relationship between White Rose and Phillip Price vs. Elliot.

The writing is fantastic. Just enough to leave you on edge and make you think. The possibilities are endless.

Angela's character is far from being "vanilla". I can see layers from where they can make that character go.
