Hell is simply separation from God.

There's no separation from Him there. Revelation 14 states that those on the scary lake of fire will be in the presence of the Lamb - again, no separation. As Light, Christ is holding our atoms together, so "separation from God" is not on the menu. Colossians 1 might be a good place to begin for those interested in freedom from Egypt's poison doctrines (though I understand many are content with what they've been fed). sheol = "in the Hebrew Bible, is a place of darkness to which all the dead go, both the righteous and the unrighteous, regardless of the moral choices made in life" "When the Hebrew scriptures were translated into Greek in ancient Alexandria around 200 BC, the word "Hades" (the Greek underworld) was substituted for Sheol, and this is reflected in the New Testament where Hades is both the underworld of the dead and the personification of the evil it represents."
