Wasn't there an airplane factory created in China by a US company at a cost of about 4 billion dollars, that when it finally was started the Chinese took it over and kicked out the american owners?

Chinese have been buying Boeing products for a long time and McDonnell Douglas had an assembly line for the MD-83 over there too.

China purchased some Boeing 707's in the early 70's then a few years later the Y-10 shows up! They reverse engineered the 707.
