He just presented the facts and said if the pattern repeats itself then God will intervene and there will be another "shaking" upon the U.S. Its called inductive reasoning, reasoning based on a pattern. Its something you do all the time with your earthquake predictions. Dont be a hypocrite.

Shemitah is not a word from the bible.
It's a Yiddish term.

If this Elul 29 Shemitah pattern is to be continued there has to be a stock market wipeout tomorrow. That would fulifll the pattern of market crashes influenced by the last day of the Shemitah year.

One more thing.... the word 'Jubilee' is mentioned in the bible. There is a thing called a Jubilee year in the bible.
There is no mention of the specific word 'Shemitah' in the bible. There is no such thing as a year specifically called the 'Shemitah year' in the bible. The bible only mentions it in this way... 'Every seven years'.... and the repeating 7 years is never given a formal name.

I think God will do what God wants to do regardless of Shemitah or Shemitah or whatever.

He is dependent on the interpretation of Rabbi Cahn. No disrespect to the Rabbi, but all the attention went to himself, not to God.

You're absolutely right about the bolded part. But, let's not judge Jonathan, we don't know his heart or his motivations. He did what he believed was right.

Interpretations of anything should be looked at, but not held to the standard of truth, k ow what I mean? He could be on the right track, but just maybe on the wrong trail at the moment.
