Nature deficit disorder strikes again. KEep these people out of the woods plz. This? Maybe. One thing is for certain: a bunch of toothless drunk cornfeds get together for a Bigfoot party and hear a twig snap, GLP becomes giddy girls that think there is absolutely ZERO foul (fowl?) play. Then they go back to debunking sandy hook lunar school landing BigKountryKang |

Chewbacca is closer. lmao I just confused Chewbacca with Chupacabra and asked myself how you would be able to recon the sound of that creature. bit tired i guess |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 56002204 ![]() 09/14/2015 11:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our family has been camping for years and we've heard some very strange sounds that have roused everyone camping in the area. You learn what coyotes, wolves, owls, elk, whatever sound like. The sound in that video I have only heard twice in thirty years of camping. Quoting: -Haun- [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] This noise is the funniest, every time ive took a newb camping they shit themselves if they hear it, im laughing because i know its a fox mating call, but it sounds awful when you dont know what it is. |

Just after 4 minutes a woman on the video correctly identifies this as such. Passed it past a local mountain man (lived in the rockies often not seeing others for months every year) and he identified the sound. Didn't know they had elk in the Appalachians. Used to camp in those mountains and saw lots of deer and even black bear but not elk. |

deadpammy User ID: 70326281 ![]() 09/14/2015 11:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That is an owl. We hear them every night where I live. If you call back at them, the continue to call. The reason the sound moves is because the owl is flying through the trees looking for something to eat on the ground. If it was bigfoot, I think my garden would be empty right about now. :) It's only life, suck it up and stop crying. BigKountryKing User ID: 901920 ![]() 09/14/2015 11:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Id buy that, it sounds big whatever it is. Clearly not an owl/coyotte etc, something with a bit of mass. [link to m.youtube.com] I don't know about that. But just think for a second, when the pioneers first came through these lands and heard the sounds, probably didn't even make them jump. They had no knowledge or scope of what was going on yet still didn't make up bogeymen. Now, fast forward to 2015, with the Internet and our collective knowledge of these conquered lands, modern man quivers in fear because of what's probably a mating call of an animal that has been known to exist since the day the person was brought into the world, with hundreds of books and educational material at his fingertips. We really are no better off now than we were then. BigKountryKang |
