2 of my Christian friends & 1 family member have sold their house and quit their job over the September 23rd prediction.

It's their lives to live and you never know - getting out if the US might be the best thing they ever did. You might end up wishing you had too.

There were plenty of people in the 30s and 40s who saw the writing on the wall and did the same thing and left Europe - and lived.

I can't imagine it getting so bad in the USA that it is worth:

- Giving up all your constitutionally protected rights
- Giving up the right to effective defensive arms
- immersing yourselves in a culture where you are the outsider
- immersing yourselves in a culture where you don't understand the way business is done, the established norms, the nuances of the language, and you are an ethnic minority
- abandoning your family & friend support network

If the USA gets bombed back to the stone age, at least the people here speak my language and I can claim that my father and grandfather were born here, I am a citizen by birth and will never relinquish my constitutionally protected rights. All my family and friends are here. I know the flora and fauna and the geography. I understand how politics and public sentiment work here - at least as much as the non-insider can.

Yes, things may get crazy here if things go south in a major way. I'd still rather make my stand here where I have an actual claim to the country and the "agreement" I was born into even if it is not always perfectly honored. (referring to the social contract where people support the government by obeying the law, and government protects the rights of the individual).

The economy is collapsing. Violence is increasing. And Tribulation is beginning. They can run away to other countries. But Tribulation is coming there as well. It will be everywhere. As a Christian i have no desire to runaway from America. Id rather be near my loved ones and help perform miracles in Jesus name and help lead others to Salvation then to be a coward and run away. God did not call His Children to be cowards.

My mom believes the rapture space ship is coming on September 23rd to beam her up. They sold their home and their condo. My step father thinks differently. He is storing up food and bought a piece of land to put a trailer on in the middle of no where. And, we are going to hell for disagreeing with her. She even said she hopes her own grand daughter ends up on the streets cause she is going to heaven. The rapture lie is so evil.

It is wise to be watchful and aware. It is wise to live like today could be the day. It is foolish not to prepare for tomorrow.

Whether the Great Tribulation begins this month or rapture happens or not, I will be waiting and watching. It would be reasonable to take the day off or even schedule vacation, but what would be the point in officially quitting your job? If you are right then you obviously won't be showing up for work after that. If you are wrong, then you just royally screwed yourself.

When the Tribulation starts, it's not just going to be here in America like the above poster said...it will be on a global basis. If you know Christ and have welcomed Him into your heart and are following His ways, He will protect and bless you, no matter what storms surround you!
