Face Palmer User ID: 70356910 Germany 09/18/2015 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Don't touch c:\windows unless you know what you are doing. "The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title." Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women |

I did not know what it was. I was hesitant to remove it because,I have removed programs and then bam computer is down. Quoting: Squidbillie Girl I would appreciate any help. I have problems knowing what to tinker with on my computer and what to leave alone. How do you know what programs are legit and which are not. It's pointless trying to tinker with it yourself. Most malicious programs disguise themselves as legitimate software anyway. You're not going to know just by looking. Make sure to at least run MalwareBytes (free) once a month as that will catch 90% of the stuff out there. Other than that, keep everything backed-up! It's a bit like credit card fraud. You WILL get caught out one day. You just have to be prepared and have everything ready in place so that you can get back to "normal" ASAP. |

Quoting: Squidbillie Girl I would appreciate any help. I have problems knowing what to tinker with on my computer and what to leave alone. How do you know what programs are legit and which are not. Computers are so cheap now that if rebooting doesn't fix it, then just throw it away and buy a new one. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |
