Anonymous Coward User ID: 65918971 United States 09/25/2015 10:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I see that Chile has continued to be hit with 3-5x magnitude quakes every 30 minutes or so, consistently, since the big 8.3 quake. In the past two hours, there have been 8 quakes, five 3x and three quakes at 4.0, 4.3, and 4.7. Quoting: bender rodriguez is this normal after a 8.3 that was, what, a week ago? or is this a sign of something else to come? thanks in advance for any insight I am not sure, but for reference: They say there were thousands of after shocks (3-6 magnitude) after the Japan quake in 2011. I'm not entirely sure how long after this persisted, Bender. I think we should most definitely be keeping an eye on these quakes. There's no doubt it could be foreshadowing to more BIG quake activity. |
