Make no mistake. Boehner's resignation is designed to give Republican voter's "faith" in the party again in an attempt to take back dissatisfied voters from Trump to a republican establishment candidate.

I would not be surprised if Boehner's replacement actually goes all in against against Obama and his agenda. There will be a large echo chamber coming from Bush and Rubio to try and trick folks into thinking the Republican party doesn't need a shake up.
