That's how it used to be when America was great.  Hate to say this, but there was a time when everyone was happy with a little less money in their pocket. You guys expect soldiers to go out and sacrifice themselves. For what? So we can brag about who has the biggest house? The newest Mercedes? The most cars with the fanciest garage? I don't fault anyone for wanting to make a good living. Especially if it helps their fellow American. America can't do anyone any good if we keep shooting ourselves in the foot Socialism will do just that, but greedy crony capitalism will do it too. We have to lift each other up. Sometimes you have to teach. Sometimes we have to pull together and kick each other to the finish line. If we don't become our neighbor's keeper that's what invites the government into our lives. |
