The "God particle" is a myth created for media relations. All particle are key to the creation of the universe. The Higgs Bosun being so elusive was called that "goddamned particle" by physicists. While is discovery helps us understand the force of gravity and mass, it is not in any way connected to God. The cuss word was censored and a media sensation was born.
